Fantastic light. easy to install on any handgun with a rail. I put this on one of my 1911 handguns, and it fit perfectly. The fit is snug and there is no wiggle or movement once the light is installed. I looked around and found this light on Amazon. Every other seller had the same light for about $70 more, so this was a deal at the price I paid for it. I have the X300U-A as well and it has a little wiggle to it when installed and a broad beam. The X300T-B has a narrow beam that makes it easy for target acquisition when shooting at distance. In my opinion these are the best handgun lights on the market. A lot of companies make holsters compatible for this weapon light as well. ... show more

The X300 series is the best on the market. I own four of them with one on each 2011 pistol. The warranty is also great with Surefire. A support clip on the battery door of one of the X300’s broke off. I contacted SureFire to order a new door/switch and they mailed one at no charge. Yes the are more expensive than their competitors but I have been using SureFire lights since the 1990’s and my original Aviator light still functions well and is around 30 years old. Light is great. Intense spotlight focused hot spot with some spill. Mounts securely to the gun and is an industry standard for duty use and toughness. Only complaint I had was I believe the item was returned as the batteries were already installed.

    • Great light with excellent throw and an ultra clear hot spot, but it's not perfect.

I have this mounted on my EDC. The hot spot is extremely bright and is outlined clearly. It can even be used to get on target more quickly. The closest thing on the market that I can personally compare this to is my Olight Valkyrie PL Turbo. The light temperature (color) and hot spot is better on the X300 Turbo, but the Valkyrie PL Turbo is also a fraction of the price. The build quality feels similar, with the controls being undoubtedly better on the PL Turbo. IMO, the X300 Turbo would be perfect if it had the same controls as the PL Turbo. The PL Turbo also has a strobe function, the X300 Turbo does not. After watching many reviews of both online, the durability seems nearly identical. The X300 Turbo has holster options with virtually every holster company, the PL Turbo does not have nearly as many options. For anyone wondering, the PL Turbo is slightly shorter and slightly wider than the X300 Turbo. I tried to use the PL Turbo on my X300 Turbo holsters (Tier1 Axis Elite) and it did not fit. ... show more
