I’d been looking for a 3quart saucepan with a lid for ages, but most looked too thin or were very expensive. This one is only $37.99, which is $20 off list price. At that price, I wasn’t sure what the quality would be like, but wowee! It’s amazing! Highly polished stainless steel with a thick bottom, this pot is quite heavy, but not cumbersome. Made soup in it today, and it’s the perfect size. Only needed medium heat to boil, and with regular stirring, nothing stuck or burned. Cleaned up easily when hand-washed. A real keeper!

Sturdy, shiny (pretty but that’s not a biggy), not heavy like cast iron (duh but sufficient), and the LID FITS WELL! Hey, that’s important as there’s a steam vent to let steam (pressure) or whatever that thingy vent does … I really like it. Glass lid so you can see “how’s it cooking”, and this pot and it’s super lid DO clean up well. I must in this woman’s kitchen. My husband thinks so, too, as it doesn’t take me too long to clean up! The deal is, with this lovely pot, he or I will prep, cook, and then I clean up. It’s ok as he’s a much better cook and not lazy. I LOVE cleaning up vs cooking. 49 years and counting but only a few weeks on this pot. I’m adding this pot to my last Will & Testament to leave to one of the kids … The one who always cleans up! BEST POT for making homemade dog food, too! FYI
