I use a Mac and was surprised to see that you need a windows computer to run the application that updates the map card. I plugged it in without any updates and the speed limit is wrong in places that had recent construction. I don’t mind because I primarily use Apple CarPlay and its maps. I got this GPS nav as a backup because I’m very outdoorsy and go off grid a lot, and wanted to make sure I can always find my way around. This is good enough to keep me out of trouble, and that’s all I need. ... show more

    • Seller Good - Product Overpriced
Can’t sing the seller, review is for Stinger and Naviextras. Overpriced big time and didn’t come updated with latest maps. Download the tool and still won’t recognize the SD card even though I can see it in my files (and drill through). Probably a windows deal where it won’t run on Windows 11. Hard pass, do not purchase the Nav card and just use CarPlay or android auto ... show more

The GPS does not work. Stinger tecg support is horrible.

    • Great idea
Sinal on GPS keeps going in and out. Going to recheck connection. I think the GPS receiver may have to be move to a higher location instead of where stinger install video said to put it. Will keep you all updated weather it works or not.

    • Speed limits aren't correct
In some areas of south Texas, speed limits are correct on gps. GPS says its 55 when the speed is posted at 75. Be mindful of your speed people

Pop it in the head unit, turn the radio on....boom...instant navigation. Do some set up tweaks and you have a great nav tool.
