I have tried the gamut of chairs in the last few years (seasonal offerings from Costco, Autonomous Ergo, X-Chair), and none have come close to this. I am 6ft, 240lbs and I've finally found a chair I do not want to find a way out of. The chair arrived fully assembled, and the construction is superb. This model is configured as in the listing (platinum frame, licorice (black) fabric, hard floor casters, 4 way adjustable arm rests). The seat cushion and back cushion are adjusted firm and supportive. The fabric has a nice feel to the touch. The height adjustments work out really in my favor, with the arm rests situated at a height where I can comfortably rest my elbows, and the seat height such that my legs are properly oriented and feet comfortably flat on the floor. Also with the seat pad, the very front has a waterfall effect, whereas the front of the seat cushion will give way gently and not firmly push up against the bottom of your thighs. The chair back has some flexibility, to allow for stretching while leaning back in the chair. The pads for the arm rests are soft enough to provide adequate cushion. The recline is a bit simple, with only 2 locking states (all the way up or all the way back), but that is to be expected at this tier of chair. The recline resistance can be adjusted to varying degrees. The 4 way arm rests can be shifted depending on how I would like to sit. Investing in an Amia means investing in your health, posture and comfort. Biggest regret is I did not do so sooner. ... show more

    • Crazy expensive....but well worth it.
Crazy expensive.....but it sure resolved many issues for me. Highly recommended. No more hip and back aching. Has so many adjustments that I was able to zero it into my 6ft 2in frame. Supports me very well. I guess you get what you pay for. Great product and well built
