I just got done scrubbing about 800 square feet of grout on main living area floors with cleaners and scrub brush. It was a ton of work and when I saw this Steam Cleaner,2500W High Temperature Pressurized Steam Cleaner I thought it might be able to do the same thing without using any cleaners and make it a lot easier. I was pleasantly surprised to find it did a nice job to maybe 80-90% clean. It didn't get the areas I tried perfect but it made them look far better than they did before. If you look at one of my pictures, this is the bathroom shower wall tile and everything to the left of the blue line wasn't cleaned while everything to the right was. You can see how well it cleaned the grout line simply using the steam water and zero cleaners/chemicals. It's not perfect but a lot better and took a very small amount of time. The instructions actually say to use some citric acid in your water mix which might help it clean even better but I don't have any citric acid so I haven't tried that yet. The steam cleaner machine is very easy to use. You just fill it with water and add the citric acid if you choose following the ratio instructions. Then, you turn it on and adjust the power from 1 to 6. It heats up quick and starts automatically spewing out steam so be careful since it is extremely hot steam. If you use the extension, be careful as the metal gets really hot. To stop the steam, you have to turn it off. It'd be nice if there was a trigger or something but there isn't. The machine and nozzles seem high quality but the black plastic corrugated hose seems low quality. It does the job just fine but not sure how long it'll last and I'm a little worried if you nick it on something while it's super hot, will the steam spray out and possibly burn you. Definitely keep that in mind to avoid injury. All in all I do like the machine and plan to try all sorts of cleaning with it.
