I was so excited to be able to get a backyard fencing way to protect my 5 new chickens and not have to worry about the need for an outlet or use of an extension cord. The description and price was something that I thought sounded like would be a quality product that would suit my need. I was wrong and the fencing arrived with at least 12 areas acual net breaks as well as many other places that are very thin and close to the break point. Unfortunately, I had not seen the deal with it for a while after receiving as I purchased this when I had first bought my chicks and did not need to use and when I was ready to set up, I had found that it was this way. So frustrating and sadly it is not any easy or quick fix of any kind.

I bought this fence to put around the perimeter of my chicken coop to keep my pig and neighbor dogs away from the actual coop and digging/ pushing their way through the chicken wire. This is the ideal electric fence. The solar powered battery box is of high quality, the fence is high and easy to move in location, and the so cal sunshine keeps the fence powered up. I was very impressed that clear directions with images are included and that small pieces of extra fence wiring are included. Altogether, ideal.

Total junk, do not buy this

Fencing is supposed to be four foot tall. Support poles are to short to make this fence tall enough. Unless you clip chickens wings they fly over fence. Bought another 82 ft of fence but after seeing initial results I am returning second order.
