My old Staples MailMate shredder finally stopped working after almost 20 years! I have owned this shredder for only a short time and it is perfect so far. It is very quiet, works well, and it is easy to empty the bin. It is the right size and easily fits on a shelf. (I have it on a low bookshelf in my home office.) I hope it lasts as long as my previous shredder!

After two complete bins, this shredder is proving to be an excellent value. I learned on the first bin that the "fill" light is next to the overheating light, so don't assume it is hot when it's full! This replaced a classic shredder that created little ribbons. This is a new generation, and provides exceptional confidence with little round "beads" - like it chews the paper, not just shredding! Glad my old one finally wore out. Would recommend highly. No jamming, not clogging... but also not stuffing it beyond its claim for 12 pages at once. Great product.

Super quiet, so far is an absolute work horse. Wry impressive unit. This replaced an old Fellowes shredder I have had for years. Loud and obnoxious and at the end could barely shred anything. This new unit from Staples is quite frankly a dream. Holds a ton of shredded material, quiet, zero issues with the auto feeder and you can watch the little tiny shreds of paper fall like snow through the clear window on the front of the bin. Great price as well for Black Friday!

This is a nice, high capacity shredder, although it does jam fairly easily, as others have noted. The number of jams can be decreased once you get used to how to load the paper. It is relatively fast and securely shreds documents.

This is a fantastic shredder! The best I've ever had. Very heavy duty, yet quiet. Made short work of a large stack of papers. Used for over 30 minutes straight, no overheating. Shreds really fine. Easy dump bucket. Can't go wrong with this.

This shredder is a work horse. I have had it several weeks now and it is well made, heavy duty and handles the volume of documents to be shredded very well. It produces a fine shred that would be next to impossible to read. It ran constantly for at least 20 minutes and never overheated. I am very pleased with the price, value, quality and performance of this machine.
