Description

With the STANLEY J509 jump starter and power station, you no longer need to dread roadside emergencies when your vehicle won't start. This compact, portable device delivers serious jump-starting power with 1000 peak amps to jump-start your car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, boat, RV, ATV, or tractor; all without the need to use another vehicle for assistance. Simply connect the clamps to the battery, turn on the switch and start your vehicle. The reverse polarity alarm will alert you when there is an improper connection. A high- powered LED light rotates 270 degrees to help you work in the dark. The built- in 12V DC outlet and USB port come in handy to charge your phone and electronic devices. It features an integrated charging cube that uses a standard household extension cord (not included.) For optimal performance, the unit should be charged every 30 days when not in use. Once used, the unit should be charged immediately overnight. Includes a limited 1 year manufacturer warranty.

I have a few vehicles in my stable and they don't all get driven regularly so sometimes they need a jump to get going and one of them is a 4.6ltr v8 triton motor.. everything else is v6's engines. This jump pack has no issues jump starting everyone of them. I have bought other jump packs and returned them because they could not even get my truck to turn over, this one has no issues starting it within one or two whirls of the started from so dead the interior light won't even come on. I am very happy with this unit and highly recommend it. The USB and 12 volt outlet on it are just a bonus! I also did not want the air compressor portion because they just use too much juice and make it heavy plus all my vehicles have their own 12 volt compressor on board in case I need one ( all of them are by Slime and plug in to the cigarette lighter plug ) so it was bonus for me that I found this one without the compressor. ... show more

Do not buy this under any circumstances. I purchased the initial jump starter, and and while it would show as charging when plugged in, all the way to full, as soon as it was unplugged it didn't work at all. The battery level indicator would not light up at all. The little side LED would not work either. I got it replaced with the same model. This one, while it has power and the battery level & LED work, DOES NOT CHARGE. How did this make it through QA? This product is a joke - please avoid at all costs. ... show more

Doesn’t do very well at all for jumping vehicles with shot batteries- does amazing for holding voltage stable on a vehicle receiving various OBD updates such as pcm or ecm that it’s VITAL to keep good stable voltage. Very convenient to not have to plug every car into the wall to flash it, grab this and my laptop and off we go (most portable jump boxes turn off after 2-3 minutes, this one doesn’t so it’s much safer for long flashes because it won’t turn off sporadically mid flash, looking at you noco and clones) Ps the seller said it wouldn’t work for this use case and don’t buy it. Been a month and use it 5-6 times every day and does wonderfully. 3 month update. Still working great to keep battery voltage at 12.0v while doing car updates. Still will only jump start cars with a weak battery. Bring a 10mm and a wrench with you. Completely unhook the old battery and put this in its place and it’ll start *most* things. ... show more

1 month review: This jump starter has been great and saved me from being late/ missing appointments several times already. On one charge I can be certain it will reliably start my VW Golf TDI at least 3 times. It starts up so fast its amazing. Pros: small and lightweight durable materials/ well made powerful and high charging capacity competitive pricing Cons: I honestly cant think of any right now, but ill be sure to update this review if I run into any problems ... show more

The first one I bought for my husband a few years ago was great and still works great, we love it. The second one I bought for my daughter was the mid priced one, the lower price one had 3 USB spots and air pump, the one that was more expensive and I had bought my husband also had the 3 USB PORTS and air pump, the mid range one I got my daughter did not have the 3 USB PORTS or air pump. It was not clearly marked that it didn't have the 3 ports, only one or that it didn't have the air pump. Was very disappointed it that. But other than that would highly recommend the other two. I bought this when I knew my car was going to be sitting in a parking lot for over a week (instead of my garage where my car is normally parked and driven daily). When I returned, I didn't want to get stuck if my battery was dead. I charged this device up and kept it in the back of my car while I was gone. When we returned to this lot, my car started right up. However, there was a family close buy who couldn't get their SUV started. I ran over and hooked the device up to their battery and their vehicle started right up after that. The relief on their face said it all. The wife wrote down the info on this device and said she was going to order one immediately. Even though I didn't need to save myself from headaches, it was nice to save another family who needed help. I have placed the device in the back of my wife's car (I need to order another one for car), 2 months later, I checked the status of the charging power and the lights indicated that it was still good and didn't need to be plugged in.
