I absolutely and completely love capes and I want them to come back into style desperately. So instead of waiting for that to happen I decided to buy a shorter one to wear on a day to day basis. I went back and forth between a couple and decided I would try this one. I am so so very pleased. The outer material is a soft green wool and it is lined with a matching green satin. It has 3 large loops that hook over a piece so close in the front. There is also a snap up by the neck to secure it even more. The hood is HUGE on this and is lined with the satin as well so that makes it slippery on my hair. I feel I may add a comb in the front top so that I can hook it into my hair if I wish the hood up. There are draw strings on it so you can tighten the hood closer to your head. The hood does pull back a bit on the cape but it doesn't bother me. I just pull it back forward. There are also arm holes in this so you can put your arms through. The arms are really not meant to go all the way through but to give you access to things without having to open up the cape and let the air in. I feel I could drive with my arms through those slits and be perfectly fine. I love this cape and I am looking forward to more cold weather to really try it out and see how warm it is going to be. I really love this cape. It’s made very well and is thick. Perfect for going to formal affairs in the winter. However, I agree with previous reviews, the cape likes to slide backwards because it’s heavy and the inside is a slippery material. I still wear it and like the way it looks but having it almost choke you and having to pull it forward all day or night can be annoying. ... show more

It just came and I’m already loving it. I had doubt when first look at it because I’m very short and it was only one size and I saw comment of being to big but I’m so glad I got it. Size is perfect, not too big at all and material is excellent. It’s not one of my favorite piece on the closet. ❤️
