Maybe there are even better hoses out there, and strangely, some reviewers are complaining about corrosion and fittings that fall off. Well, that's not my experience. This is my second FatMax hose. The first, now 15 years old, is the original black with yellow stripe. Still soft and flexible in cold and hot weather. Rarely kinks and has easy grip connectors. I was concerned about the color denoting a difference in quality, but not so. This one performs like the other one. The best feature is its flexibility in cool/cold weather. And while my 'NeverKink' hoses are always kinking, the FatMax rarely does. Staying with what I know, 5 Stars. ... show more

Only used a couple of times and what is impressive is the flow. This alone will keep me from buying the cheap hoses again. It appears sturdy which indicates it won't burst easily. It will serve well attached to my pressure washer.

It is pretty, and pretty terrible. I own several Fatmax tools and have always been impressed, my opinion of the brand was medium-high. Then enters this "Professional Grade Water Hose" wow, just wow, my opinion of this brand just dropped like a rock. If someone asked me to design a garden hose with the specific intention of kinking as much, as badly, and as easily as possible my work would already be done: I'd just hand them this. This feels like an "own brand" hose, that someone painted yellow, and added some legitimately nice ends to in order to hide their crime. It looks misleadingly nice, even in person. This was likely designed to be lightweight so it could be sold exclusively online (save on shipping weight), but that isn't actually good for longevity or kink-resistance. I implore you to go to the hardware store (or a farmers supply) and go look at what like-for-like you can get at this price. You'll notice that no hardware store stocks this in-store, and that should be setting off alarm bells (spoilers: because nobody would buy it when put next to actual competition at these prices, and because it feels flimsy because it is flimsy). Calling it "professional" anything is just embarrassing, this doesn't even succeed at light duty. I don't recommend it at any price or for any usage, it needs to do one thing well and it doesn't do that one passably. I actually look forward to the day this fails, so I can throw it out and get something actually good. ... show more
