Just got this for Christmas. Nice sturdy shelf that should be easy enough to install. I will need to drill 4 holes in the ends of my grill in order to mount the brackets, but that should be easy enough. Other than that the install is fairly straight forward. Should make a nice addition to my grill.

Installation was very easy. It took me less than 15 minutes to complete the installation by myself. The fitment is spot on. A much needed improvement for a Traeger Pro 22. Makes life much easier when transferring hot food to a pan or plate.

Overall the product was great but a few cautions. If you’re trying to save a few bucks this is a great option. My desire to purchase was really just sprucing up an aging pro 22. After years in the pnw uncovered the Traeger itself looks great still but the hardware is definitely showing it’s age. What should have been a 10 minute install turned into a half hour due to the hardware seizing. In the end I ended up drilling out the screws and using a rotary tool to remove the fittings and then replacing the hardware with nuts and bolts I bought at Home Depot. If you have an older Traeger that has been braving the elements I would hit the outside mounting screws with pb blaster over a couple of days to help in breaking them loose without the fitting breaking or just be prepared for a more involved process. If you have a newer Traeger or one that shows no signs of rust well then you’re good to go and it should be a quick process with great reward. Overall I would highly recommend.

Very glad I added this to my Traeger Pro 575 smoker/grill. It was easy to install and easily folds down for putting the grill cover back on. It’s solid when open and a nice place to set items while tending to the food on the grill.
