Soft chin strap great for smaller heads

Got my hat today and the fit was perfect for me. I'm only 5 ft 118 lbs and my head is small so it's perfect. Bought it for my seadoo since I've lost so many hats blowing off and sinking. I love the brim not huge and the chin strap feels soft

Good, but not perfect.

I bought 3 at once in three different colors. All 3 have variations of chin strap length, floppiness and width of the brims. I bought their largest size hats to shade my giant brain slash calendar boy-old man looks, for when I surf, and the big hat sizes are suitably big. The problem is that some straps are too tight, some brims are floppy and can block vission, and some brims shade less. Crazy I know. That hats themselves have held up to a bit of uses and are overall functional, but not perfect. ... show more

Foldable, small and functional!

We are always walking around in the Sun, in the rain, in the ice and snow... you get the idea. This summer is looking to get more intense so decided to buy some some easy to use - it's a hat - headgear to keep our heads out of the burning Sun. We ride our folding 16" eBikes also, and the other hats had a wiiide brim that takes off like the flying nun! Really!! These are muct nicer - WE love them! ... show more

A few misleading features
Color: Orange
I like the orange color. I like the ease of releasing chin strap with one hand. I like that it is big enough for my fat head but can be adjusted down for others. However, saying it is lighweight also means less thick material. Saying it has hard front brim is false. For example my existing Dakine you can actually see the hard material inside the front brim with its softer but thick material all around. I like this for putting on before my water helmet I use to make tighter fit within the helmet and the thick material means it blockes a lot of the force on my ears but I do not have to wear ear plugs which I hate since I want to hear my fellow surfers for communication. The material used with this orange unit has equal brim material on all sides which makes it less than a floppy bucket hat. I will keep this to use around my pool or when I am not using a helmet. I suspect the thinner material means it will wear out quickly but I will not know this until it is past its return window. If it holds up then its worth the lower price from being imported from Amazon's favorite discount providers from Asia. ... show more
