He said it took some patience to assemble, but it works perfectly and cleans easily. Very sturdy. Moves easily. The most appealing aspect is that there is no dripping through a grate like in traditional grills. You can purchase a scraping tool, and just use a water spray bottle and some paper towels. I have absolutely no CONS for this grill. We liked it so much we bought 2 !! It is easy to assemble, easy to clean and easy to use. The 2 U shaped burners heat the flat top up much better than any other grill I've ever had. The wheels on it are really good quality so you can actually move it around very easily and it doesn't wobble. My husband cooks his breakfast and lunch on it every day now. Eggs, sausage, bacon, hamburgers ! No problem. What is really nice is you just scrape the grease off into the little hole in the back center into the little aluminum grease pan and throw it away and put another in when it gets full. Since the grease is not dripping down on the burners and inside the grill every time you cook we can actually keep it in the garage and it doesn't smoke or stink. Plus I expect the burners will last twice as long too. We normally always end up replacing the burners because they get full of gunk and quit lighting. ... show more

Bought this Blackstone griddle for camp shortly after receiving another Blackstone as a gift from a relative. It's been awesome this summer cooking everything from varieties of fried rice, fish, steak, fajitas, burgers, etc. I cook for a family of four and this has plenty of space for any meal we cook. The best part is keeping the heat of the kitchen outside the house while cooking a wide variety of foods. It's important to note that I have had a few learnings. First, I'm an instruction follower so I seasoned the new Blackstone according to the directions. It's remarkably non-stick when they are followed. Also, I had several occasions where it seemed cold and wasn't heating up properly. The regulator has a safety device that activates when turned on too fast. This drops the gas pressure and produces poor results. Simply bleed the gas and start over slowly. ... show more

Fairly priced, easy to assemble and to set up. We just finished our first meal which consisted of smash burgers, roasted asparagus and roasted red peppers. It was the best outdoor meal we've had in years and since we went bunless on the burgers, it was pretty healthy. I don't think I have ever had a second helping of asparagus before but I did tonight. Tomorrow: scampi and smashed salt potatoes (its a CNY thing) and oh yeah, more spicy roasted red peppers! ... show more

This griddle is perfect for your outdoor kitchen. I bought the natural gas conversion kit to go with my griddle so I could hook it up to our home gas line. Takes only a few minutes to get blazing hot so you are cooking right away. Easy to clean. I bought a cover to protect my griddle and I suggest everyone else should too. It’s the perfect size for camping or the back porch. I absolutely love it cause it’s easy to move and yet still sturdy when it’s set up, only complaint I have is that the top warped within the first year I had it but I’m too stubborn to buy a new one cause when it heats up it flattens out.

We really like our smaller 28” Blackstone. Highly recommend the smaller sizes and not the 36” model UNLESS you have a large family or entertain a lot of people. Be advised the griddle plate has legs that more or less “sit” on the frame with the 28” and 32” models. Only the 36” models with lids have the griddle legs “lock” into the base. I called Blackstone after assembly to question why the feet didn’t lock into place (like the directions say they should) and was advised of this fact. I personally think this could be a safety issue BUT won’t move the assembly around while hot anyway. Be very aware the frame does get pretty hot because there’s no way to keep the griddle tray heat from being transferred into the stand. It is actually really fun to use. I do stand, monitor, and flip food way more attentive than my grill but that’s the fun of it. Have not YET made eggs, hash browns or pancakes on it but am anxious to do so.
