Fantastic Grill but arrived damaged. The box arrived severally damaged. When we opened it appeared to be ok until we got to the main part. It had a ding in the back as well as the hood. To avoid repacking and returning we decided to keep it. Highly recommend purchasing this at a store to avoid shipping. Blackstone should ship these heavy grills into multiple boxes. The packing is not adequate for such a heavy item! ... show more

    • Great griddle, arrived with some damage. Seller very responsive and honest!
Update: Seller responded and stood behind their products 100%. They sent a partial refund sufficient for us to replace the damaged piece. Very quick response and excellent customer service! Shipping was delayed due to weather and the box arrived battered and torn. Grill was pretty easy assembly and most of the pieces looked great! There was minor damage on one of the side attachments, but it was not visible and did not impact functionality once assembled, so I am not worried about it. The only major problem was that the grill hood is bowed out on one side and bent on the back corner, which skews the shape of it enough for it to catch/click upon opening and closing. Other than that, everything looks good, delivery was fast, and I am looking forward to getting the grill seasoned and starting to cook! I am in conversations with the seller and they seem eager to resolve the problem with the hood. If they are able to send a replacement hood or provide funds for me to purchase one, I will update this review. It would definitely be 5 stars without the damage. ... show more

    • Works well, once you realize you don't have ot run all four burners
The first time I used this, I couldn't get the temperature under 450, and I usually griddle around 350, which meant that my timing was all off. I had all the burners on but cranked to low. What I didn't realize until later on in that session, was that running every other burner on low will let you do lower temperatures just fine. I absolutely recommend that you use an infrared thermometer with this in order to get a feel for what temperature you're working with when cooking with this. Terrific capacity, though - it could probably fit 16-20 burger patties on at the same time. As it stands, I was cooking three 12" tortillas at a time for al pastor burritos and still had space left over. ... show more

I needed a new toy for my backyard kitchen. I can accomplish most of what I do on the blackstone in the house, but with an additional mess. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Caution on how you season it and make sure you stay up on keeping the flattop itself seasoned. It’s cast iron and needs the TLC to maintain it. ... show more

Damaged hood was discovered during unboxing, but customer service did give me a full refund after returning the griddle. The griddle does look like it is good quality, but I cannot buy anything NEW already damaged. I would have definitely kept it without the dent. I did have to request a return shipping label, and it cost me 22 dollars for UPS pick up the package due to weight limit. Nice griddle, but if you have to return it, it's a hassle. ... show more
