We have been using this griddle for over a week now. Just got back from camping, and used it everyday. Making breakfast for 9 people was a breeze. I was able to cook bacon and pancakes at the same time. Very convenient to move and transport. When we first took it out of the box, it was very shiny. We followed the directions as instructed. We washed it and seasoned it. We did worry that we weren’t doing it correctly. We’ve seasoned dutch ovens in the past and thought it was strange to do it with this griddle. We did exactly as instructed by the manufacturer. Wiped oil on it with a paper towel and heated it until it quit smoking. Wiped it with oil and repeated several times. The black shiny layer did peel off. We worried because of other mixed reviews on this process. Glad we didn’t listen to some of the reviews because this was necessary. If we wouldn’t have done this, we would have ended up with black chunks in our food, as other reviewers complained about. I like to turn the middle burner on 1st. That way the other 2 burners will turn on when turning the propane knobs on. No need to use a lighter to light. Turn propane on at the tank, turn knob to the fire icon, and push the striker to light. Very easy to use and clean. I highly recommend this griddle to anyone looking for one. Easy to season! Easy to light! Easy to cook on! Easy to clean! Easy to move and store! Very convenient! Perfect for our family of 7 plus some! We are very happy with our purchase, and look forward to using it for many years to come!!! ... show more

I’ve been camping for almost 50 years using everything from single burner butane to 3 burner - 90k BTU camp stoves with every imaginable cast iron pan ever made. I’ve just replaced everything with this griddle! If your making food for two or 8, this puppy can handle it. Wife and I literally just returned from a weekend of beach camping and we ate VERY well. So versatile, easy to set up and use. We stir fried onion and bell peppers, cooked up chorizo and shrimp all at the same time using different “heat zones”. Mixed together in aluminum pan to keep warm while we heated tortillas on same griddle using left over drippings. OMG!! Comes with hose to connect with 20 pound propane tank and even has a cover. Only ding I would give is that this manufacturer does not provide accessories. It would be great if they provided an optional warming rack. Also, it would be great if they made a funnel to connect the gap between the bottom of the grill and the drip pan. Bacon grease dropped off and missed the hole that goes into the grease catcher. These are small dings. Five stars given but would rated at 4.95 based on above. Bottom line, very well made, nothing “cheap” about the construction and priced right for what you get. If your new to camping or a gray haired old boot like me, you cannot go wrong with this grill. Suggestion: go to internet and look up cooking techniques and recipes for this grill.     • Ok overall, but not very even in heat distribution.

I've managed to cook some really nice batches of chicken on it, so no major complaints here. However it has its flaws. Griddle bed is uneven in it's heat distribution. Middle 1/3 strip of the bed, right over the burners gets very hot (450 - 500) even on the lowest setting. Further 1/3 strip of the bed gets very hot too but just a bit lower. Closest 1/3 strip of the bed gets very low temperatures (just over 300). This is with all three burners on lowest setting. The grease catching hole and tray tend to leak really badly. The hole in the tray tends to drop crease more on to the case of the griddle rather than into the grease catching tray. It is an easy solution as a simple aluminum foil funnel stuck between the griddle bed and through the hole of the body into the grease tray catches all the drips, but it is still another thing to do every time I use it. The good thing is that the bed seemed to season relatively well and is very non stick even with acidic and sugary/sticky items such as Orange juice (Chicken breast marinated in orange juice and peel with Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce). Overall I'm still getting a good use out of this griddle and I like its size as it is very compact for a propane gas griddle, but it has its flaws and quirks to work around. ... show more

Wanted to get my Brother in Law a griddle but didn't want to go crazy on spending. This griddle fit the bill perfectly. It has 3 zones, good temperature control and a decent size for his needs. It would have been nice to offer the griddle with a hard cover as a slightly more expensive option. Easy to use, well built and seems like it will hold up well. So far he's used it several times and raves about it. Definite recommendation for a budget griddle. ... show more

We opened everything and started putting it together. The plate is nice and heavy and everything looks good but the threads on the plate were not that clean. One pointing position on the plate would not accept the stud because the threads were incomplete. I had to get out some tools to clean the threads and it still kinda didn’t work until I got a flat head to just force the studs to go in. The nuts that hold everything together on the bottom side of the grill you will need an extension to get the nut on the stud to start the thread it and tighten it up. I recommend blue Loctite because you’ll probably never take this thing apart and you don’t want any of this stuff coming loose.( The hardware is very cheap they should definitely upgrade the hardware to something tougher but if your gentle with it it’ll work hopefully ) ... show more
