    • Good grill, but gloves aren't heat resistant.
I got my basket yesterday and I plan on using it for the first time tomorrow. I can tell it's not thick enough to hold the snapper I plan on cooking so I'll have to use cooking twine to secure the handle and the fish, but it seems to be constructed well. The silicone brush seems to be pretty well constructed, but I could immediately tell the mitt was not heat resistant. It's made of some thin synthetic material and I can tell that it would melt on one's hand if it came in contact with fire. My old oven mitt is of better quality than the mitt provided. I recently purchased the SHIZZO Grill Basket Value Set. The overall quality and value it offers is great! This is hands down the best grill basket I have used. The set comes with 3 accessories in addition to the basket itself, which makes it so easy to cook a variety of foods at once. The baskets are made of high-quality stainless steel and are very durable. They are also dishwasher safe which is a huge plus for easy cleaning. The basket has a non-stick coating, which makes cooking and cleaning up a breeze. The handles are heat-resistant and very comfortable to hold, even when the basket is hot. Works well for grilling smaller items like veggies, shrimp, etc. The only complication is that the handle is aligned to lie flat with one side of the basket, which means you can only close your grill cover if that side is down. If you flip the basket, the handle is an inch off the grill, so closing the grill will tip the basket up. ... show more
