Just received it ! Shipping was a bit slow due to the holidays and the freight company but the machine came packaged very well. Very easy to assemble! Great quality and it’s fairly quiet. For the price you honestly cannot go wrong!

  • Love it!
Color: White Size: Drop-off Service Only
This stairmaster works excellent! Got it over 4 weeks ago and I use it 6 days of the week and have no issues to report at all. Feels very sturdy and it’s just what I needed. It’s not super quiet but I don’t think it should be anyway? It’s in my garage and I use headphones anyway as I do my cardio when my twins are sleeping and I don’t hear it at all so it isn’t an issue to me at all. Would definitely recommend it. Delivery was also super easy to schedule. ... show more

  • Rugged machine
Color: White Size: Drop-off Service Only
I have used a name brand stair machines at the gym for years. I decided to buy one for my home and I went with this model. I was amazed how robust it is! This is the real deal. I can't tell the difference between this machine and the "commercial" machines costing 4x as much. Not sure how they make money on this, but it's real! ... show more

  • Please Read Before Ordering
Color: Black Size: Drop-off Service Only
I am writing this to give any prospective purchasers of this step mill a more accurate description of what they are getting than was provided to me on Amazon’s site. I LOVE working out on a step mill! It’s the next best thing to running to get your heart rate up, but it’s lower impact than running. Thus, I was very excited to be getting my own machine. Now I won’t have to smell a stinky stranger right next to me at the gym while I’m huffing and puffing on it. I finally received my Efficraft step mill 46 days after I ordered it. I do NOT blame the seller for the host of problems I had with the shipping company. In fact, the seller went above and beyond to resolve a host of issues, even paying extra to have the machine transferred to a different delivery company that provided “white glove” service. They brought the almost-400-pound machine into my house and placed it right where I wanted it. The seller communicated with me almost daily (sometimes several times a day) during the episode. Thus, the seller gets FIVE stars for working with me to get the step mill properly delivered. The good: The machine is generally well-built and sturdy. It is relatively quiet. I have no problem hearing the TV while I’m on it. The heartrate monitor works, although I don’t use it because I don’t like to hang onto the handles; I like to work out like I’m climbing real stairs without a handrail. I like to sometimes take two steps at a time, and I was worried that my lower foot might trigger the “electric eye” safety shut-off mechanism, but no worries there. The eye is low enough to not trigger an unwanted stoppage, even when my lower foot is on the bottom step after it begins to angle downward. The bad: The product description on Amazon’s website says that the speed range is from 15 to 164 steps per minute (“SPM”). The manual that came with the machine says the same thing, but this is NOT accurate! The slowest speed (Level 1) is 34SPM. Levels 2 through 4 increase by 12SPM (46, 58, and 70SPM, respectively). That’s quite a jump between levels. Level 5 is 80SPM, Level 6 is 90SPM, and Level 7 is 102SPM. I haven’t tested levels higher than that yet, since 102SPM is already a veritable sprint. Important note: I had to measure the SPMs discussed above by manually counting them while watching the clock. Contrary to what is presented in the instruction manual, THERE IS NO DISPLAY THAT SHOWS STEPS PER MINUTE. However, there is a display that shows total steps taken, and it appears to count accurately. For comparison, the step mills at my local gyms start at 20SPM and go up in increments of 6 to 8 SPM. In communicating with the seller BEFORE I ordered the step mill, I was told the steps are 9 inches high and 9.4 inches in depth. NEITHER figure was accurate. By my measure with a ruler, the steps are exactly 8 inches high and slightly LESS than 9 inches deep. The height I don’t mind, because it is higher than either of the step mills I use in my local gyms, and I think that will merely give me a better workout. By my measurements at my local gyms, the steps on the Matrix Climb Mill are about 7.6 inches in height and 10.5 inches in depth, while those on the Life Fitness Power Mill are slightly less than 7.5 inches in height and 9 5/8 inches deep. I don’t mind the extra height on the Efficraft steps, because I figure that will merely give me a harder workout (and it does!). However, I would prefer more depth than the Efficraft machine provides. If I put my toe as far forward as possible on the step, the step will support my foot only to the back of my arch (I wear men’s size 11 shoes). I have to angle my toes outward to be able to fit more of my foot on the steps. For someone with smaller feet, it might be more comfortable, but for someone with larger feet, not so much. The “speed” indicator is just a number with one decimal place, with no indication of what it means. Is it horizontal speed? Vertical speed? Diagonal speed? Is it supposed to be miles/hour or meters/minute? It makes no sense. The calorie-count display is worthless. After climbing more than 1,000 feet, it says I’ve only burned 68 calories. It takes no account of the user’s weight, because there’s no way to enter that information into the system. The instruction manual that came with the machine is not written by someone for whom English is a first language. It’s the usual gibberish that arrives with so many foreign-manufactured items. Although the assembly instructions are understandable, the maintenance section is nonsensical and useless. It sure seems like a foreign manufacturer could work with a native-born American to write such manuals. I am left to guess at what sort of maintenance the machine will require. I’ll probably take it apart at some point and try to figure it out. The assembly was actually pretty simple, but one of the lock nuts for a bolt that affixes the console stand was missing. I had to go to the local Home Depot, but they were out of lock nuts in the size I needed, so I had to buy a regular nut with a washer. I informed the seller, and a replacement arrived about four weeks later. There is a significant gap between the edge of each step and the frame housing, so you can clearly see the chain that drives the step mill. This is unlike the ones at my local gyms, which have the drive chains hidden by their housings. I’m concerned about dust settling on the chain and eventually causing damage. I’m also concerned that a small item dropped into the gap could cause major damage. After I’ve been on the mill for a few minutes, I can smell burning oil. It’s not strong, but it is noticeable. Thus, I set up a high-speed floor fan about 10 feet in front of the machine, and it circulates enough air that I can’t smell it anymore. FWIW: I bought a cover for my machine (Amazon.com : Treadmill Cover, Dustproof UV Protection Running Machine Cover, Exercise Workout Equipment Protective with Drawstring for Home Fitness Equipment Treadmill Indoor & Outdoor : Sports & Outdoors). Although it’s made to fit a treadmill, it covers my Efficraft step mill perfectly. Despite the defects, I’m keeping this step mill. It is functional, and I can at least get a decent workout on it. If you can get past the issues I’ve presented above, it’s a pretty good buy. ... show more
