I'm used to the old time wooden rolling pin. When we moved ours was packed poorly and it broke so I went searching. After reading countless reviews I decided to gamble on this. Boy am I glad I did. This truly only needs a light dusting of flour for the stickiest of doughs. I found the thickness guides to be easy to use and of good quality. I know some people complained about how you adjusted it but I found it to be easy on and off. Not to mention easy storage! They also have mm on one side and inches on the other. The rolling pin is lightweight but performs like a heavy duty pin. I love the silicone mat that comes with it. The mat does not slide around on the table or counter like so many other mats I've tried. The diagram and measurements are useful too.

I bought this for my daughter. She's 10 years old and just started baking. This is very sturdy and it's a beautiful design. Because the mat that it comes with has a lot of measurements on it, I felt it was a great math lesson also. Very easy to clean very easy to use highly recommend.

This stainless steel rolling pin is a fine tool indeed, sturdy and easy to clean, with no hardship in its care. It moves smoothly across the dough, and paired with the silicone baking mat, it proves most useful. However, its length, being but 12 inches, may be found wanting by those in need of broader sweep in their baking endeavors. Yet, for the common task at hand, it performs with admirable grace and precision. In all, a worthy companion for any who seek to bake with both ease and efficiency, though its size may leave some desiring more.

I have to roll out a TON of cookies for my Etsy store, and this rolling pin cuts down so much time. It’s long enough for large batches, and the 3/4” disk is the perfect thickness for soft sugar cookies. You do need some flour to keep it from sticking to the dough, but no more than a normal rolling pin. For cleaning I just wipe it down with a wet sponge and dish soap, and make sure it’s dry before I put it away. Definitely recommend this upgrade!!!
