Got these to replace the plastic le creuset handles on a dutch oven and they fit perfectly. They're super easy to change and put on, just one screw to change. I bake bread at very high temps and didn't want to melt the knobs. These have high heat resistance and do just fine at 500+ degrees. They are hollow but that allows them to cool faster. They haven't stained so far and are very durable. Definitely recommended these as a low cost option knob for dutch ovens at high temps if you don't want to ruin your le creuset handles.

These are awesome. Used them to replace previous replacements that were wooden (those looked neat but eventually wore out.) Full disclosure, I haven’t used the included hardware… just popped them onto the existing screw assemblies. But they fit perfectly, were easier to tighten down and seem like they will last longer than the previous ones.

I have a nice Cuisinart dutch oven that came with a plastic knob. Several recipes required it cook in the oven at 450 degrees/broil and I read conflicting reports about the heat limit of those plastic knobs. I went out and bought a Lodge dutch oven with a metal knob, which is a great dutch oven, but small. I couldn't believe I hadn't thought to explore whether the knob could be changed. It can, aha, and so I bought this and screwed it onto the old, larger Cuisinart, and voila, now I can use it at high temps in the oven. Can't believe I hadn't thought of this before. This knob is perfect -- fits great, goes on snug and looks high end. Wish I hadn't spent all the money for another dutch oven when I could have just bought a knob. Ha, what a knob.

I've had these 2 qt Le Creuset Dutch Ovens for years and use them to bake bread at high temperatures in the oven. I took the knob off one the other day and accidentally dropped it on the floor and it chipped. I was happy to find inexpensive replacements on Amazon. The new stainless steel seem to be more sturdy. I bought the 2-pack and replaced both original knobs. The only negative is that they are bigger. Not a big deal. Probably more in proportion on the larger Dutch Ovens.

These metal knobs replace the old knobs rather nicely for a low cost. They seem almost a tad oversized, but before long, you won't care much. Quite often, when using a Dutch Oven with these on them, cooking on the stove, you will find that you might not need oven mitts to take the lid off, for a quick stir, or checking on you food. Although, you will still need oven mitts when taking same Dutch Oven out of the oven, as they will be hot. Note, these are likely not solid all the way through, as they seem hollow, with a nut welded in on the bottom, but they seem rather sturdy. Also, they come with extra washers and spacers if that is what you need for some reason. As for my Le Creuset Dutch Oven, all it needs is the Knob, and the Screw (which is angled to fit the pots design. It worked well for that pot, as well as a cheap Dutch Oven I got years ago at Fred Meyer (Kroger) for $20. They did the job. Decent for a low price.
