I used this with the finest die to rice potatoes for making potato gnocchi and it worked great! It was super easy to attach to my KitchenAid and put all of the right pieces together. Worked like a charm for ricing the potatoes and when all was done, it was super simple to take apart, clean and reassemble. Very sturdy and seems like it will last a long, long time.

ABSOLUTELY Useless! A door stop has more utility than this thing…I’d return it if I was able to…but I missed the return window…but they do that because they know this thing is CRAP!!! spend the extra money on a QUALITY stand alone MEAT GRINDER…this one clogged up within seconds-even after cleaning the meat well and chilling it and putting the grinder parts in the freezer! All Thrilla and NO KILLA…skip this piece of trash and any other brands like it…trust me-your sanity is worth it! I’m buying a MEAT! YOUR MAKER brand or a HOBART! GoatMood is straight garbage…not even going to send this thing to Goodwill…straight to the dump!!!

I just received it today and opened it up. Everything was there and it felt pretty heavy, looked good. So I took a magnet and placed it on the parts most were attracted to it but the body of the unit was not as well as the tubes and the bottom art of the try. I don't know what type of metal they used for the unit or the tubes but it was not like the try and blades. So if you looking for 100% stainless steel I guess you would need to spend a few extra dollars to get one.

This grinder is all but useless. The kitchenaid plastic grinder does a much better job. All the tolerantes are too loose and the meat is not ground but only forced through the front plate. And if not asswmbled carefully the lock ring will jam on the front plate and become near impossible to move.
