I've been an Amazon customer since they started, and this is my first review ever. That's how impressed my wife and I are with this treadmill. It's not only all that the description claims; the best thing about the treadmill is something they hardly mention: When you're done using it, you can just pick up the front end and lean the whole thing against a wall! If you have limited space like we do, just put the treadmill down on the floor when you're using it, then put it "away" when you're done! Sure, you can pick up the back end and roll it to another location as the description says, but our favorite feature is that you can just make it go away. The treadmill doesn't have handrails to hold onto, but we don't have a problem staying on it, even when watching TV. The remote is simple and convenient. The treadmill doesn't go super fast (3.8 miles/hour is the top speed), but we didn't buy it for sprinting. We just wanted something that we could use to exercise while we're watching TV, instead of sitting on the couch. Now we take turns on the treadmill while we watch our shows! And it goes away when we're done! And its inexpensive! I should also mention that we had a minor issue with the treadmill a few months after we bought it. But the customer service people at Starpower got us back up and running (well, walking fast) in no time! And not only did they fix our problem, they also wrote to us several times afterward to be sure we were satisfied with their support, and still happy with the treadmill. I work from home and I was spending too many hours sitting. This has been a game changer. I now walk 4-5 miles a day while working. It is quiet enough to use while talking on meetings. It does cut off after 1 hour. It is a great quality walking pad and you cannot beat the price.

I work from home full time and have already been using a standing desk for a good while. I almost never use my chair as it is so not a huge transition there. I added this and so far have used it every work day for about 2 weeks now. Easy set up and not hard to get into place. Remote works great and I walk while reading emails, listening in meetings or typing. For high focus stuff or while on calls I use the lowest speed setting but for those endless meetings when I just am one of many and listening I’ll kick it up to about 1.2mph. Try to get 2 - 3 hours of walking in a day and while it’s too soon to notice any health changes any activity is good for me. It is a bit long so I struggle to move it out of the way when not walking but that’s mostly due to the tight space I have. ... show more

Update: customer service reached out after my last review. They are offering a partial refund as this is not a common problem. I appreciate the great service and given their response I would recommend trying this brand knowing customer service will be responsive if there are any issues. I've had this for about 2 months and got about 1 month of actually using it. It took a long time to figure out where in my house I could plug it in because it has very specific energy needs and doesn't work on all outlets. Once I finally found the right outlet for it, it was great for about a month before the motor started making strange noises at any speed above .6 mph which is the slowest possible speed. The noises have gotten progressively worse, if I don't turn it off immediately, which makes me concerned to actually use it. I got a cheaper brand thinking I just needed the basics but somewhat disappointed. ... show more
