Compact trail cam that works as it should. I was hesitant at first because of the fact that you need 8 AA batteries but with some lithium batteries it’ll work just the same as a home security camera. It has settings to only start recording or activate when it detects motion and there are different functions for recording. There’s also options to adjust the time and date settings, something I didn’t do when I tested it so that may be very important to see what time activity is taking place. I like the size of this camera it’s a good size making it easier to hide. I also noticed a plug for what looks like an external power supply or solar panel so I will be looking into this also. For my use case, I plan on leaving this up at the RV site in a discreet location. It’s on private property so there are no worries of recording other people, it would be mostly to see if anyone stops by as right now there isn’t power to hook up a WiFi security camera. I think this camera will do the job great. I like that it also has the option to format the SD card directly from the camera so I can easily take an SD card with me, swap it with the one that may have footage and format them each time I swap them. The casing is pretty durable, it’s a tough plastic with a locking lever to seal it from the weather. It comes with a strap to hang it on a tree but the mounting options are limited to what you can think of. It doesn’t blend in very well with the foliage as it is a grey type of color so I may end up running a few different colors over it with spray paint once it’s up in the tree.

The SPYPOINT FORCE 2K Trail Camera is a good game or trail camera. It’s an AA battery powered, motion-activated, trail camera. The camera is made well with good quality materials. It is capable of capturing 24 MP still and video images from distances up to 70’ away. It’s relatively easy to setup and maintain. The camera requires either twelve AA batteries or a 12 volt source to power it. However, since it does not have Wi-Fi capability or cellular connectivity built into it, one would need to physically retrieve the required SD card to download/transfer footage; which is not included in the packaging. Though it’s an older type of device based on 1st generation trail camera tech, I like this product because it works as intended.

The media could not be loaded. I see a lot of trail cameras, but they are too fancy for me some having the 4G capabilities.There is nothing I don't like about this camera so far. It's built like a tank. I like the way it has the eight backup batteries and also you can plug into a regular 12 V battery. You can basically put the biggest SD card that you want in it. I think I saw 256 GB. I put a 32 GB to see how that goes. Setting it up is straightforward just opened the case push the switch up to settings And just set your time and date and so forth and how you want to take your pictures and videos. I even ordered a SD card reader so I can take the card out and watch it through my iPhone or iPad that ought to be a great feature. I set mine up to take three photos and then take a 10 second video. Wait one minute and do it all over again we will see how that goes. I will do an update as soon as I get some footage to let you know how everything is working and the most important thing how good the pictures are. I've got everything set on the highest resolution we will see. The video should say the rest.
