These Govee lights really enhance the viewing experience and add a great atmosphere to the room. Once installed, the color-syncing behind the TV works surprisingly well and makes movies, shows, and games feel more immersive. The lights respond accurately to what’s on screen, and the app offers plenty of customization options for brightness, effects, and color modes. I also like the flexibility of using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi depending on your setup. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the installation could be improved slightly. The adhesive works, but it took some effort to get the strips positioned correctly, and I had to reposition one corner which weakened the grip a little. Including extra adhesive clips or stronger backing would make the process smoother. Aside from that, the quality and performance are excellent. Once everything is in place, the lights perform just as advertised. The colors are vibrant, the build feels solid, and the app is reliable. Overall, I definitely recommend these lights if you want to upgrade your entertainment setup. Just take your time with the installation for the best results. ... show more

Probably the best aesthetic addition I have made to my room, recently got into a “move everything around” mood and got some new things to make my room pop out a bit more, these lights changed it all. They perfectly match the colors on screen, there is no delay with switching colors on the app and seeing them light up, set up was very quick and simple, the adhesive backing is great quality and the clips really lock the strips into place, perfectly sized for my 55 inch tv. So many options to choose from, you have Aurora lights, to star lights, to campfire, forests, and even light modes that match real time to the sunrise or sunset.     • The best TV backlight I’ve seen / used
Size: 7.8FT for 40''-50'' TV
The kit comes with everything you may need to install. I used this on a 43” LG TV (UT75 Series LED, Model #43UT7590PUA) and it worked/fit great with no issues. The TV has limited space on the rear left (if facing screen) but it fits there with no issues and looks/performs perfect. Installation was a breeze and required no extra tools. I installed it while the the TV was mounted to a (full-motion) wall mount - I considered taking the TV off the wall for easier installation but I had zero issues with it being mounted while I installed the kit. I was surprised* how customizable everything once was downloading the app. I won’t be using it on “video” mode all that often, but it works well. The initial calibration took some time as the image showed up "broken" and I had to refresh it quite a few times - but once you calibrate it the first time you will not have to do it again. It’s got a ton of effect / theme options but you can also customize the solid light modes greatly in different regions - not just the colors but also the brightness of each region. I was impressed with all the options and ability to save themes you create. I’d definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for your first kit or to replace an older or dingy looking kit. This one looks great and doesn’t make the rear of the TV look tacky. The only change I would make would be to include some additional hardware to take care of any slack wire at the corners but that’s only noticeable from wide side angles and easy to fix yourself with any adhesive strips or electrical tape, etc. (it came with 2 spare clips and some spare double sided adhesive tape). TLDR; This is a fantastic high quality backlight with a ton of customizable features and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a backlight. * EDIT: I edited my review to fix a spelling mistake. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m loving this! The calibration was a little iffy at first but you can figure it out if you just give it some time and thought. Other than that it was about a 30ish minute set up (for a perfectionist like me) and since I have had the best movie experience. Can’t wait to try a game on this!
