Seems okay, however, written instructions to set up and to use manual control are nearly impossible to understand. I had to look up a YouTube video for a similar competitor's product to learn how to use it.

I bought this specific product seeing it was similar/identical to others displayed, yet at a lower price, but upon installation, found multiple issues and returned it. The issues - the threading was just slightly off so it didn't 'roll' on to the spigot smoothly - I had to force it. (I used pipe tape, and tried different thicknesses, but had probs each time. Plus I know it wasn't my spigot as I've threaded other hoses and timers without issue.) Even after forcing it on, this particular unit leaked just below the neck (not where it went on the spigot) so badly that the spigot would have to be turned off, defeating the purpose of the timer in the first place. (Of course, this problem could be linked to a faulty unit, but am then disappointed the unit was shipped in the first place.)

It’s working as I write! Love it. I’m not very tec savvy but this was easy enough for me to get it set in one try with two programs! Will be doing a reorder for sure! Front yard next!

It works great. I used it to cool my air conditioner compressor. Be sure to not stress the connections with heavy hoses. Best to tie down the hoses and valves so that they don’t move and use Teflon tape liberally. Took me a couple of tries and now it’s just there. I do wish these had the feature to turn on only during the day. Ex turn on every hour for 5 minutes from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. I didn’t find any of them with this feature. I ended up setting a phone alarm to turn it on in the morning and off at night.

We have been pushing off installing sprinklers in our back yard because prices have gone up so high. It is so easy to set up. Works wonders and I love that it has a timer. Literally just the same as our installed sprinklers in the front yard. It has lasted us all summer and saved our grass! You can’t go wrong.
