Description

The Spooner Pro Model is the board of choice for taller riders ready to advance their boarding skills. Slightly longer than the Freestyle, the Pro Model allows a taller rider to have a comfortable shoulder width stance. The patented spoon shape is positioned slightly closer to the tail which gives the rider more control for advanced surf, skate, and snowboard manuevers. We recommend this board for kids over 4ft tall who wish to really connect with the feeling or their favorite board sport. From the Manufacturer The 28" Pro is the 1 choice among riders over 4' tall. Perfect for practicing your toe to heel snowboard carves, learning 360's, and much more.

  • This was my 9 year olds favorite Christmas gift
First of all when this blue spooner pro arrived I was really excited that it came with really pretty custom grips! Not the plain black ones, but instead a photograph image of a wave and a turtle swimming underneath! Really pretty, and unexpected. I bought one spooner pro for my my 9 year old and one for my 11 year old. I bought a spooner freestyle for my 2 year old. All three kids like them, but my nine year old spends the most time with it. She loves spinning and spinning on our tile floor. Mostly lying on her back but also on her tummy and she is experimenting with a standing/squatting spin. Also just balance walking on it is fun too. It makes me a little nervous but I think it’s great for kids to learn balance while they are kids and some accidents are to be expected. So far she’s only bonked into a chair leg while spinning when she wasn’t paying attention that she was shifting closer to it. My 2 year old will ride on top of her when she’s doing a lying spin and will lay on his back curled in a ball to spin on his own but not too fast. He likes to go over and over again and almost fell asleep once doing it! I was able to get the freestyle discounted on a deal of the day, but the others I paid full price. It’s a really neat active toy. I like that there is no weight limit and I like to experiment on it myself as well as many other adults who come around. ... show more

  • So fun
We got this for our 3 year old who thinks skateboarding is awesome but we didn’t want to get him a real skateboard yet. All five of us think it’s awesome! From the 350 lbs guy to the kid with balance issues thanks to a special brain. It’s a good time. Super durable. No cons.

  • Depends on the Kid
I ordered the blue board for my 6 year old son. The wave and turtle design on the grips is really cool, and the board is very sturdy. However, the bottom scratched up the very first time it was tried out, even though it was used on a relatively smooth floor. I don't think that's a big deal when using it, but it might effect a return or future resale. I bought this as a tool for helping my son work on his balance and get some wiggles out. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. You can spin on it and rock on it, but he quickly lost interest as he wasn't motivated to try the tricks. Actually, one of the first things he does with it is to turn it over to make a bridge/balance beam out of it. I don't think it's made for that, but it has supported his 60 pounds without breaking. I picked this instead of a wooden wobble balance board, but that offers more play options and might have been a better bet for my son. I do think this would be a good tool for kids who want to learn skateboarding, snowboarding or surfing tricks. I'm hoping that my son will have more interest in it in the future. It is a good but slightly pricey product for what it is. It just depends on the interests of the kid using it. ... show more

  • Lots of use and worth the money
This is a huge hit with my 12 year old son. My 2 and 4 year old daughters love it too. I think it could be a fun open ended toy for little ones. A lot more uses than I thought. Seems very sturdy and durable. Glad I decided to purchase it.

  • Awesome!
My oldest wanted one of these about 10 years ago. Yeah, I am slow. I finally bought her one. Great for a young adult to work on their core, have fun boogeying around while cleaning their room. Fun! Durable! Bonus, ours came with the decorative printed grippers. I wasn't expecting that. They look fab! ... show more

  • He had been wanting one of these and was so anxious to play with it that he said he didn't care if it wasn't perfect and we just
This was a Christmas present for our son and it arrived with some damage to it. Unfortunately, we hadn't opened it until Christmas Eve so we decided to put a bow on the damaged part and leave it under the tree anyway. He had been wanting one of these and was so anxious to play with it that he said he didn't care if it wasn't perfect and we just keep it anyway. I didn't want to keep him from trying it out so I let him play with it but I'm still bummed it wasn't in excellent condition when we got it, since it was supposed to be brand new. We would have returned it for sure if it hadn't been Christmas eve that we discovered the issue, and didn't have time to get a replacement. ... show more

  • BEST.GIFT.EVER!!!
My boys are into every kind of sport imaginable, but don't really play with toys. I bought this hoping it would be something unique and fun. It is so much more than that. They use it inside and outside, and it has become a family thing. Who can do what tricks, Who can spin the fastest, etc. It is a great balancing too, a good core workout, and definitely worth the money!! ... show more

  • Good for All Ages
This is pretty cool!! It is used by my 15 year old, my 3 year old granddaughter and myself. I took off one star because of the long lasting fun factor compared to the price. It is used about 10 - 15 minutes at a time then put away.
