As of right now, I've only used it for a few hours.Just to try it out in a little doing more than half the garden. Why did it seem to be very powerful and did a great job better than I expected?More powerful than I expected. And granted , it's only been a short time a few hours , but i've got no complaints as of yet , and I don't think it will be any. Great machine ... show more

I usually wait awhile before submitting a review, but this machine from the start exceeded my expectation.i just retired my 1974 sears roto spader and was prepared for utter disgust with new machines. I must say,after filling the fluids and checking the plug gap, this machine started right up. In full throttle, i had to run to keep pace allowing the power of the tines to propell the tiller. The ground i tilled was not virgin soil but it hadnt been worked in a couple years. The 30 inch tines seem to be stronger than i had expected.the motor has plenty enough power and torque to brake and till the ground. And it sounded good. Anyone complaining about poor assembly instruction for this probably just ort not be using it anyways. Easy,easy. As far as longevity, il only be using twice a year.so i can only hope it last agood bit while Overall, them Chinese slave laborers are do a good job ... show more

Only one word to describe this tiller, WOW !!!. This thing rips through the dirt with ease, some of the tines got loose (nuts and bolts) but just tighten them, no big deal. easy start, one pull, this thing does it !!!

    • Don’t buy this machine, complete waste of money
The directions are horrible, assembly is just best guess. Throttle clutch are very poor quality do not work smoothly, it is unintelligible what direction to push the lever to get the choke on. I tried to start it for over an hour on two different occasions and was unsuccessful.

Started on 2nd pull. I’m 6ft 230 lbs. this thing pulled me around like I was a rag doll . Haven’t tilled my garden in 2 years and it went through it very easy. Can’t believe a unknown 7 hp engine can be this strong. If this thing holds up, it’s a heck of a deal. UPDATE: I’ve had it for almost 2 years now. This thing is a beast. Best tiller I’ve ever used! I did a 8x20 garden in about 23 minutes. I’m very impressed with this monster. I would rather use this Splendor tiller over the 12 hp rentals I’ve used in the past. Not sure why it has weak rating. It’s the best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon. ... show more
