It seemed like a good option, so I bought it and, I have to say it works very well for what I needed. I can’t carry much weight , and this one is very lightweight. I can place under the bed or under my couch and it doesn’t get in the way. It’s quite quiet, so it won’t bother others even if they’re sleeping. This Sperax exercise mat is now a perfect addition to my morning Yog (yes, it's called Yog in the original Sanskrit language, not Yoga) and exercise routine. It is quite heavy and strongly built compared to the previous mat I was using. It does not slip on the wood/tile and prevents the foot markings on the carpet. When rolled, the size is fairly compact and easy to take with me while travelling. Being water/sweatproof also helps, so it can be washed and cleaned very easily. Overall, it's a very good recent purchase for me.
