The scent is subtle and very pleasant. It DOES make the water softer and it feels so silky smooth you won't want to get out of your tub. A small amount of foam is produced right after adding it, but we just scoop it out. I wish they offered it in a smaller bottle because we were almost afraid to try it due to the cost. We've been using Spa Complete for a couple years now. We have a small hot tub that gets used daily and the chemicals tend build up pretty quickly, which creates chemical odor issues. Spa Complete does a great job of eliminating the chemical odors and makes the water feel "softer" if that makes sense. Several people mentioned bubbles. A few bubbles is normal, but if you see a lot of bubbles, then you are adding too much. A little bit goes a long way. It should not look like a bubble bath. Make sure you shake it up every now and then, or when you get to the bottom of the container, what's left won't be as effective. Yes it's expensive, but should last several months. Again, you don't need to add a lot. They do seem to have issues with the product being damaged in shipping, but that's the fault of the delivery companies mishandling the container. If it arrives damaged, request a refund.

I used it while adding other chemicals on my weekly maintenance. I like the smell but I think it interacted with the other chemicals and caused a greenish ring around the top. It was sticky and got all over my skin since I got in during the night and couldn't see very well.

We love this stuff. No chemical sent. Make the water more soft feeling. Does tend to foam a little. Kind of spendy. But we think it's worth it. Helps keep the water clear.

This stuff was expensive and the scent is barely discernible for only a few minutes. The directions are ambiguous - add a capful - but there are two caps. One is about 1/2 a tablespoon, the other is like a cup! Well be warned the big cap is NOT what you use! Throw it away! It foamed and caused the worst scum around the edges of my tub for the longest time. I ended up draining half the water, changing the filter and trying the correct amount with the small cap. I still got terrible scum! I’ve never had this problem, so I completely cleaned again and stopped using it and no more scum. $64 down the drain. I really wanted to love this stuff. The scent sounded nice, but did not work for me.

So, this product is really amazing… if you don’t use too much!! Comes with a measuring cup/lid covering the sealing cap and directions say capful. I assumed the measuring lid and things got a bit murky. I let it correct itself, tried using the sealing cap for measure and things have been great since! Real helps to cut down use on other chems.

We like the product and it helps our spa water smell and feel good. However, the packaging of the product is terrible. The first time we ordered, the box arrived completely saturated and falling apart, and wrapped in plastic wrap. There was only about 1/4 of the bottle left and the rest had leaked out due to the plastic cap being broken during shipping. The second time, the product arrived wrapped in a plastic bag but it had leaked as well. Thankfully it was mostly contained and didn’t cause the box to fall apart. The packaging of this product needs worked in so it doesn’t brake or leak during shipping.

This is a great product and totally changes the feel of the water to silk. My wife has very critical skin allergies. With my previous chemicals I could keep everything spot on and it still would irritate and cause itching for her after she was out for a while. Adding this eliminated it instantly. I did a complete flush and cleaning of the tub. I then refilled with the recommended amount for my tub but I found that that is actually a little too much. Like most chemicals there’s some trial and error and it’s different for everybody but I can actually use less in the maintenance dose and get a perfect result for us. It has a very nice aromatic light scent. I highly recommend this.
