Just pure heat. No wind blowing that dries and ages my skin, no noise that drives me crazy, no glaring red light that annoys me, no smell after 1 day. There is a weak plastic smell on 1st day but it's gone by the next day. I need to get another one for my other room! Yes it gets hot on the outside frame but it's perfect for warming up frozen hands, not hot enough to burn my skin. Yes it hooks up with the smart home app so I can turn it on from my bedroom on my phone before I enter the livingroom. It doesn't have scheduling like "turn on at 8am" it only has timer like "stay on for 2 hrs". But if I really want scheduling I think I can figure out using the automator but so far I dont need it. I don't mind the shiny plastic sheet visible thru the mesh as mentioned on some other review, coz I know that is the infared heat film itself and that's just how it is. It's a great technology!

First let me start off by listing the pro and cons Pros: Heats up fast in a large area Quiet and fan less. No noise Bluetooth connectivity. Not a lot of surface areas that if you touch would accidentally burn you. Safe around pets and kids Has sleep mode and timer settings Cons: A bit large but makes up for its super lightweight box design So far that’s all I can think of but not enough reason for me not to buy it. So definitely a good purchase in my opinion. I think my favorite part about it is the no noise compared to traditional heaters I purchased this to replace my old heater and this one seems to draw less power.

Item is not infrared and does not throw heat more than one foot in front of it. Infrared is is supposed to be felt on objects and people that are in direct line of of device. This heater is basically a radiator that all heat it gives off goes directly up into the ceiling. It essentially an electric Mat that you would use in radiant flooring for heat. It does get hot but you might as well get an oil radiator heater because at least the oil retains some of the heat and when it gets to temp, turns off saving you some money, instead of constantly needing to run. I would prefer to get a real radiant heater, so that i feel warm instead of it taking forever to try to heat the entire room. I love whatever genius made up this marketing scheme to waste my time and theirs (20’+ heat wave distance what a joke). Ps they sell the same one on eBay for 80 bucks so don’t get ripped off here for $279 or whatever ridiculous price they have.

The media could not be loaded. We’ve been using it for a couple weeks now & it amazes us how well it maintains a comfortable temperature in our living room / dining room. It doesn’t have noisy fans, it just radiates heat. Fantastic for watching your shows! The package is lightweight & built pretty well, cool ice white LED display that are touch sensitive on the panel. It comes with a remote, the icons are printed in white which is kinda makes it hard to see from a distance, but holding it closer makes the print legible. 10/10 would recommend to friends & family.

The media could not be loaded. Size is larger than expected, but thin and light. Touch screen, remote, and app were all easy to use and worked well. Instant heat. No noisy fans blowing. Doesn’t make your hair and blankets staticky. Not hot to the touch. Absolutely silent. Can turn off lights from display screen. Cream color and brown leather are visually pleasing and blend well with room decor. Cat loves it. She laid down and started purring. I love it too!

Beautiful design, lightweight, easy to move around, this was exactly what I wanted for a large-ish space - living and dining room of a Raised Ranch. I wanted minimalist. I would have preferred a wall mount, but in this awkward space with few walls, it needed a standalone. Design wise, it’s is sleek and minimal. I cannot vouch for the hearing capability as I plugged it in and turned it off quickly. It didn’t pump out a lot of heat but it works by convection, so I think that it takes time to warm up. Controls are beautiful. But - the biggest reason I immediately turned it off and decided to return it… there is a piece of plastic or some sort of material evidently used as a heat reflector. This is located right in back of the front grill. It’s sort of crumpled and reflects any light you have in the room. As a designer, this looked like a big defect to me. I contacted the company and as told that this is how it was manufactured, and to return it. This is really such a retraction to a beautifully designed heater! Such a shame. If those things don’t matter to you, you’ll be ok, but then again you would probably wouldn’t purchase this on the aesthetics. As this is in my living room, I wanted it to be elegant. Note to your design team - FIX this issue - it looks like a flaw… that the material was either not secured or pulled tight and flush. You do not see this in the pics on Amazon and is really a problem. Too bad. It had to go back! See pics for daytime and evening - it shows up no matter what!

The media could not be loaded. I was really hopeful of this product, the having the bottom edge of the front frame arrived bent, and showing a cheap plastic component underneath it is an as bad of a cosmetic fault as it looked good in the beginning. Disappointed. Will spend so much time packing it up, shipping it back and waiting for a new one. I don’t even care how the box is going to look like. Definitely a return. Edit: I did replace the product as I was still hopeful, the second one arrived quickly, which I do appreciate, but this one also has the same bent frame. This is making me feel it’s a design issue engineering issue, they just couldn’t find a way of keeping that frame straight. Will use this, but I will keep my comment and low score because of that weird imperfection.
