    • The humidifier function does not work.
I was looking for a humidifying heater and tried this one. I must say the heater works excellent. But there is no thermostat to regulate the heat. You will wake up in the middle of the night with the temperature at 90 degrees. That was my fault for not researching. But my issue is the humidifier does not work. I bought one and returned it for that reason thinking it was defective. But the humidifier does not work on the replacement either. I followed the directions exactly.     • Puts off satisfying heat
I've been using this near me at night on just heat mode when watching tv so I don't have to heat the whole house before I turn everything down to go to bed. Little box has a swivel vent on the front so you can conveniently lower or raise the angle of warm air blowing. I love that! Haven't tried the humidifier yet, but as the temps get colder and dryer, I think this will be a good way to add moisture to the bedroom air while sleeping at night. The instructions are not the best I've seen, and it looks like the humidifier turns off when/if the water tank goes dry, but the heater doesn't turn off. I took one star off here for the lack of an Auto function that would turn the whole unit off after a designated amount of time. If you're sick and using the humidifier overnight and the tank runs dry and turns off but the heat keeps blasting away, might not be so great. I know that's creating a scenario, but just saying it's the kind of unit you have to keep an eye on, maybe not leave on all night in a kid's room or for an elderly person. The media could not be loaded. The potable heater/humidifier works very good for small space, like in office. It heats the space fast and noise is pretty low. Besides the humidifier works good too, making the air not too dry.
