I have only had this weed eater for 3 months and it's already broken. Not sure if it's the battery or the weed eater itself. It starts running and only lasts for a couple seconds and shuts off even with a full battery. Not sure what's wrong with it but it's a piece of junk. Too late to return it. I wouldn't suggest buying this.

Worked very well until after 20 min. battery went dead. Had to recharge. Seems 20 min. of grass trimming should not cause a 20V battery to go dead. I did read other complaints regarding this issue. Thought they might have fixed the problem. Would like to return. But past the time line.

Barely cuts through average length grass if you hit a weed with even slight thickness the string throws it's self or breaks and goes back inside the head battery only lasts roughly 30 minutes and you'll experience random power loss every 5 to ten minutes after only 15 to 20 minutes the string also constantly hits the guard causing the string to either break or returns its self to the inside of the head if it doesn't tangle its self above the head stopping it from both spinning or running 1/10 don't recommend even for the cheap price would only recommend to someone who's yard is either dead or barely alive trying to make this item convenient has done the exact opposite you'll spend more time trying to make it work or resetting your string than you actually will weedeating

Was unable to start the tool as unable to get batteries charged. The included batteries would not charge even though the indicator light on the charging unit indicated that the batteries were fully charged Installed batteries in the weed Wacker would not operate the weed Wacker ( would not start) Called the telephone number included with the item and was told that they did not carryDy the model number on the unit and they had no other number or contact to provide I returned the weed Wacker
