I bought this because I only have a very small area that needs to be cut (I live in a condo), and while it does the job, it's a total piece of trash and would not hold up to a yard of normal size. It constantly separates in the middle causing me to hold awkwardly, and the battery only lasts for about 20 min. If I still had a full-size yard this would NEVER be acceptable. For an extra $20 you can get a Black and Decker that is quality, this is a cheap Chinese trimmer that is poor quality. ... show more

The weed eater works great. I used in my backyard for about 25 minutes non-stop. Had plenty of battery left. Charger works well. The battery goes in firmly and you don’t have to worry about it falling out of the weed eater or charger. The only downside is that it is a single string, not dual. My husband has been saying for years that he needs a new wed walker, so when this became available I ordered it right away. Husband really likes, and says that it works much better than the old one. He also said that it very durable, but not super heavy. He says he is pleased with it.

so, I wanted a Dewalt weed eater, with big motor (kick start) the works, but it was about $200 bucks, geesh. after a while I came SOYUS trimmer, small, easy to wield, and buzzed like bumble bee. Instructions are vague, but I figured it out... For light duty it will be fine, the kicker is, they give you a lot of small spools for the trimmer, this trimmer is not the highest quality, that cost a $100.00 more. happy so far ... show more
