Product was easy to assemble, just 3 parts that had to be placed. Completed in about 5 minutes. And no I didn't read the instructions, as intuitive assembly is always my benchmark for a good product design. Second, I took it out and immediately started trimming my lawn (my gas powered trimmer died for a 3rd time, which is why I went electric) and I was really impressed with the RPM's/Torque of this compact electric trimmer. I've got caterpillar grass (poor man's St. Augustine) and it's as tough as nails, but this trimmer cut through it no sweat. I have to admit, I had low expectations, because typically electric lawn and garden tools are just underpowered compared to gas powered devices, but this trimmer is legit! While I wouldn't want to trim the South Forty with it on a 2Ah battery, for my small yard, it will work great. This bundle came with two batteries, charger, and 8 spools of nylon line. I consider that a solid value for $79. I had already purchased the Soyus leaf blower, and was real pleased with the performance there as well. And it also came with two 2Ah batteries. So now I've got both tools, four batteries, two chargers, and everything I need to maintain the yard. Let's see how they hold up over time.....very pleased so far. Soyus claims they've been designing/mfg. garden tools for over 30 years, and I have to say it shows in their products. I'm impressed. And I'm a tool snob, so it takes a lot to impress me.....

Very flimsy.could not get the bottom half connected to the to half.There was supposed to be an arrow on the bottom half and an arrow on the top half there was only an arrow on the bottom half not on the top half instructions were not very good. So I returned it and did not order another.

Lightweight, gets the job done. For under $80, I can’t complain! Batteries run about 20 minutes a piece. Charging takes a bit longer. Like other reviews, it does keep falling apart midway, and you have to keep putting it back together. I’ve tightened screws, etc. But it’s a simple fix to just keep going. It’s not my end all be all lawn tool. Just a tool to hold me over until I want to spend the money on something better.

I purchased this Soyus 20V string trimmer about a month ago. It came in timely manner, the box was undamaged and the trimmer was partially intact but was easy enough to put together. The trimmer came with two, (2) batteries and they were both charged. I have used the string trimmer once a week since buying it and it works great! It is lightweight, easy to maneuver and it has three (3) trimmer settings which I have found very useful. My yard is large and the batteries last one hour before needing recharging. The price for the trimmer was also extremely competitive so a win-win for me. I highly recommend the Soyus 20 V cordless string trimmer. Subsequent to this purchase I bought the Soyus 20V 22" cordless hedge trimmer and I am just as happy with that purchase.

The weed wacker is fine. But the instructions are vague. The "protector" wire included has absolutely no instructions on how to secure it.

Sorry, I don’t recommend this type of weed cutter. The weed cutter works well, but the batteries died after two uses. It’s not worth the money.
