Features

  • Built-in Amplifier - With a MOSFET power supply you get improved switching speeds, better performance with less power from the driver, lower gate-to-drain feedback capacitance, lower thermal impedance for higher switching frequencies
  • PWM - Pulse Width Modulated design simplifies power supplies. It controls the output voltage and current precisely by removing the output current sensing loss & eliminating all secondary feedback circuitry. Its efficient & reliable
  • Variable Low-Pass Filter - A low-pass filter is an electronic circuit that removes all the notes below the filter's frequency setting. You will use the Low-pass filter to primarily keep high notes out of your subwoofer(s)
  • High Level Inputs - Speaker level inputs are commonly referred to as high-level inputs. It will be used to connect the US10 to your factory radio or an aftermarket radio that does not have low-level (RCA) inputs
  • Low-Level Inputs - Line level inputs, also known as RCA inputs or low-level inputs, use RCA interconnect cables to link the US10 with the source unit. Most aftermarket radios have multiple pairs of RCA outputs that can connect to multiple amplifiers
  • Variable Bass Boost - Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it
  • Phase Control - Phase control lets you adjust the speaker phase with the amplifier if your speakers or subwoofer are hooked up out of phase
  • Specs 13.58 x 10.43 x 3.15. 10.6 Lbs. LED Status Indicator. Thermal, Short and Overload Protection Circuits. High performance voice coil. Rubber surround. Aluminum cone. The all-in-one combo makes this ideal for spatially challenged vehicles
  • 3 Years parts and labor for subwoofer, 30 days for wire kit

  • Really good powered sub
Style: US10K
If you are looking for that thump heard from 2 miles away you won't find it here, but if you want a nice upgrade for your system that has great sound, solid build and easy installation this is it. Definitely thumps but is clean and is great for any system. Love it just want I was looking for

  • Love it!
Style: US10K
This will not provide earth shattering bass. If you want that, go elsewhere. This is what I would call OEM+. It beats out any factory Bose system. I can definitely hear and feel the bass but it sounds very good & clean. As an adult and having an ear for good sound, this will really fill out the sound and let you experience what the musicians were expecting. I have this with a nice touch screen headunit and the doors have kicker 6.5” two ways. When tuned properly, this sub really fills out the cab of the truck. I never once hit clip protection. The provided wiring kit was just long enough for the install. It’s mounted under my rear seats in the center. Money well spent. ... show more

  • Terrible!
Style: US10K
Absolutely terrible, hooked it up and in less than 10 minutes on half gain, 0 bass boost the sub blew. Would 100% not recommend, currently waiting on support to contact me.

  • Solid Sub for the slim category!
Style: US10K
2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Buyers....please manage your expectations. For an inexpensive, slim, behind/under the seat/panel subwoofer, it's pretty good. Installs quickly behind the rear driver's-side seat.... using the high-level inputs and set to auto turn-on. After dialing in the settings - 100hz crossover, 1/2 bass boost 2/3rds gain -it sounds damn good... low, without any annoying upper bass. I will try a lower crossover point at about 75hz, lower the bass boost and up the gain, to see if that gives me the low rumble (not thumpy) sound I am looking for. I think that will sound best overall. So far, the response is well rounded without sounding fake... and I believe I made a 100% correct decision going with the SSL 10" slim subwoofer. So, with the right expectations, it could be your inexpensive solution as well. "My fellow bass-heads.....buy it without regret!". (Note: 35+yrs experience in car audio). ... show more

  • Well constructed. Punchy enough for my RVs entertainment system.
Style: US10K
This has a lot of features only found on more expensive units. Small and compact in size yet big and punchy on sound. Great for tight spaces. Removing it from the box, I found this unit surprisingly heavy. Well constructed, it is built for extreme locations. I installed it in the RV for a little extra THUMP during my personal entertainment free-for-alls. This comes with a remote where you can control the volume, without having to tinker with the setting controls on the speaker itself. I'm not breaking any windows but it does reproduce clean/low frequency sound at a very reasonable price! ... show more

  • Super Nice amp/sub combo
Style: US10K
I'm glad I went with this. I had been pricing out options for a while and finally decided to get this sound storm and I'm not mad. I installed it all pretty quickly. I have a F-150 with aluminum body so I have to change the ground location to the negative battery terminal because right now I get intermittent conductivity but overall the performance in solid. I'm still 'breaking it in', so i'm excited to see what it can really do was I get the levels turned up some more. -Dom. ... show more

  • Not bad, but not great and definitely not capable of the advertised 1000w peak
Style: US10K
I’m going to explain my thought process and what I learned getting this because I think a lot of people will look at this product for the same reason I did, which is needing bass for a weak/tinny factory car stereo but not wanting to have a giant subwoofer enclosure and amp taking up space in your car. First off, like all underseat subwoofers, installation is a pain if you want it to look good without loose wires, but that’s universal and not a fault of the product. Make sure you do this right or have it professionally installed, because this runs high current and can be dangerous. Second, if you’re looking for boomy bass that sounds clean and with good low end response an underseat subwoofer will not do the job. This is very limited in power and at best will sound like a stereo the car should’ve come with when it’s set up correctly. Third, tuning it is really difficult and it has a small pickup range. It seems like no matter how hard I try to set up the low pass it only plays a few notes from a small range really loud and the rest are inaudible. I’m also using the recommended low level inputs and have a great ground connection. Also all of the tuning knobs and wire inputs are on the side, so you can’t adjust anything unless you pull it out from underneath the seat. Fourth, it gets overwhelmed very easily and I’m 100% certain this isn’t hitting anywhere near 1000w. It’s pretty quiet, and if you turn up the volume or gain to higher levels it just rattles and doesn’t really make any more bass. I’ve heard much lower wattage enclosed subwoofers that were way louder and sounded more clear. TLDR: Overall I’d recommend a cheaper brand that more accurately advertises their 8-10” underseat subwoofers as ~400 watts, because realistically that’s probably what this one is. Pros: -adds bass if your stock stereo doesn’t have any -easy to adjust volume with the included controller -doesn’t take up cargo space Cons: -definitely not 1000w -sounds tinny and rattles if you run high gain or volume -really low pickup range so you won’t get good bass on all of the low frequencies in a song -expensive for what it is, a 400w 8” underseat subwoofer will probably sound the same for substantially less -tuning knobs are on the side instead of the back of the enclosure, so you need to remove the sub from under the seat to adjust it which is annoying ... show more
