Update: the company reached out to me after the review and sent me a casting dongle specifically for this projector and it works great! Originally, we were going to return this as we were trying to just use screen share from phone with it. However, this does not work. Iphone have some copyright policy or something that prevents screen sharing netflix/disney/ most other streaming apps on to the projector. We also tried android and it works but is super laggy. We decided to try with a fire stick device and that worked. We are able to stream now. The auto adjusting and focus could be better. I feel like I still need to manually adjust it. The battery life is more like 1.5 hours. The sound system is pretty good. ... show more

We’ve now tried 4 projectors for our outdoor patio to include a “nicer” Yaber. This is very easy to setup and a big bonus the sound is good and it’s portable. It seems to be of better quality than the 2 off branded ones we got, and because it’s smaller than the V12 it also feels more sturdy. We connected a fire stick for ease of use and it’s working for us flawlessly. Haven’t tried the NFC connection yet but we’re hopeful. Great bedroom TV. Did not want a mounted ceiling TV, so a projector was the obvious choice. Unit not too noisy (projectors need a fan to remove heat) and has reasonable speakers.

This thing is great. So many instances where this thing has come in handy. Super easy to set up and the picture quality is excellent. And with an internal battery/JBL speakers, you can have movie night anywhere you want.

We have movie nights on our back patio with friends in the summer. This was a replacement for a short throw projector that just did not live up to its promise. I had hoped this one would do a good job for a summer movie night. Overall sound was good and brightness after dark was good, not excellent but good. The big issue was not matter what we tried, the auto keystone and auto focus would not work. We kept getting error messages and finally had to resort to turning auto functions off and just using the manual off the remote. We had updated the firmware, including for the MCU but that did not help. Sadly, this one is missing the mark after demonstrating such promise in its online description. Also, good luck trying to get the Yaber hdmi dongle without ordering the T2+ model. I kept getting messages that the dongle was going to be available but have yet to see it for sale as an accessory to the T2. ... show more

We don’t have a tv so we decided to make a home theatre. It’s cute enough to live on a cart in our living room. Paired with an Ikea blackout roller shade, second pic (excuse the stockings). Spring for its own fire stick, otherwise you can’t really watch anything from a major streaming platform.
