  • JINTU ZOOM LENS + CHAT GPT! Use them both together and you have a power house editing studio. JINTU ZOOM LENS + CHAT GPT! Use them both together and you have a power house editing studio.
The product obviously is not the best and dont expect this to be at this price. However, I do see what the reviews are all about. All I can say is combining the lens plus CHAT GTP and you can really get the most out of it. Add your pictures to chat gpt and tell it to fix them. The outcome is amazing! I started at the park with my iphone, here comes the rest: Picture #1 to see how far these people were from my zoom lens. Picture #2 is the actual picture the camera took with the Jintu Lens Picture #3 is what Chat GPT generated after telling it to fix. Now you have an amazing picture and it worked for the rest of them For the price I've paid, It saved me hundreds of dollars. I use chat gpt a lot so I dont mind paying my subscription fee as I do a lot of research with it. ... show more

  • Fantastic lens for price point! 🕊️ Fantastic lens for price point! 🕊️
Definitely a great lens for the price! I can see where some people would be coming from with the blurriness but it’s really only noticeable if you don’t have a tripod or if it’s not in TV/Manual mode. It takes really nice photos when it is in those modes. I found it easy to hook up for the most part with the instructions provided. It fit the camera. Little bit heavy but again that’s why you use the tripod. Overall very neat! I’ll have to play around with it more. Update with more photos: this lens is fantastic!! I can’t believe the photos it takes now that I’ve gotten used to it. But the lens!!! ... show more

  • Decent Lens for Moon / Sun. Amazing value Decent Lens for Moon / Sun. Amazing value
I used this for the recent solar eclipse, since I didn't want to shell out thousands for a fancy lens or rent. Pros: This lens is SHARP. And the magnification is great. It does what it says on the tin. Superlightweight. You probably don't need to use the stabilizing foot. Cons: Strong chromatic abberation, esp around the edges. Better when zoomed in. Low contrast, esp when flaring. Fixed Iris! - f8 at 400mm and f16 at 800mm - Weird, distinct, heavy flares with very bright lights. Now in my posted sample, I also had a variable ND filter which adds to the coloring of the flare pattern and gives it the wonky + shape. When your light source is controlled the flare acts like haze as seen in the thinnest crescent. Very nice, reminds me of old lenses and film stock. Honestly, it's a specialty lens that I'll use whenever I need a telescope, and the price is exactly right, maybe even great. ... show more

  • For the Price it is a Great Manual Lens For the Price it is a Great Manual Lens
Like most have said it is difficult to have it fully extended without using a tripod or monopod, but I have been using this lens for about a month now and for the price you really can’t beat it. Like others have said it sucks in lowlight but is ideal for full daylight or for partial cloud covered days. I have been using this lens primarily for all my birding photos lately and tried it out at the San Diego Safari Park as well. The sweet spot for not using a tri or monopod is the 420-600 mm range, but if you use it often enough you can get great shots without a tri or monipod. All these photos are without using either. The focus takes a second to get used to as it has a fixed arpeture and smaller section to view through but once you use it enough it is a really great cheap lens. Its also much lighter than most lenses that reach 800mm. The Red-tailed hawk photo was taken at full extension of 800mm. ... show more

  • Decent, but... Decent, but...
For the price it's a great lens, especially if you know what you're doing with all the settings. Once I got things in focus, the obligatory pictures of the moon came out pretty good (image attached is on full auto with manual focus). That being said, I'm very disappointed in the tripod mount. I had set everything up, and had the lens mounted on the tripod. It was nicely balanced with the camera at that point. However, when I used the tripod arm to adjust the camera to point up higher to actually get the moon the weight from the camera caused the tripod mount to break. I'm grateful that I was able to catch the camera. With the busted mount, the lens is now fairly useless outside of a "throw it in the trunk for random art shots on a road trip" kind of lens. ... show more

  • Pretty darned good for what it is and how much it costs Pretty darned good for what it is and how much it costs
I paid $65 for this lens with a coupon from the product page, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations. I shoot occasional backyard birds for fun and used it on a Canon T4i body to take the attached shots. Shot in RAW format at 800mm, f/16, /1250 sec, ISO 1250, and cleaned up minimally in Lightroom Classic afterwards. Also attached is the same scene taken at 300mm with another camera. All three pics have not been cropped, they are dimension-wise as they came out of the camera. One thing that surprised me is how granular the focusing is. It shifts focus VERY gradually, which I guess is required for proper focusing at the 800mm end. The lens mates with the camera solidly and there's no wriggle. For me it's a keeper, it's a fun little lens to have in my bag to whip out for those occasions when the reach comes in handy (backyard bird watching, full moon, etc.). Don't pixel-peep and zoom in at 100% or greater to see all the flaws--they are there! Just enjoy it for what it provides at such low cost. ... show more

  • Did not work period, could not even get a single non blurry shot despite trying all settings
I really wanted to like this lens since it felt like value for money, but not sure what was I thinking seeing all the nice pictures posted by others in the reviews since I could not take even 1 decent shot in about 100 tries. And yes I read about all the manual focussing limitations and different settings I needed to change for ISO and Shutter Speed. I did try it against the moon, against other landscape items in full bright sunlight, with and without tripods, but the lens would just not focus into other than a blur (and I am not even talking about when I clicking the shutter)... the lens focus from the view finder itself was always blurry aka out of focus, despite trying to focus several times with different focal lengths (yes I tried from 420mm all the way to the 800 mm). I also tried with two DSLRs that I have Canon Rebel XSI and T5. May be it works with more high end and newer models... too bad this is going back. ... show more
