Why did you pick this product vs others?: Used to replace a 10yr old Sony BD player that the drive went out. The older model was used heavily, so hoping this will provide the same reliability. Love how well this upscales older DVDs, so I can watch them on my 70 inch Samsung. Even the sound/picture quality when playing blurays is top notch compared to playing blurays on the PS5. A steal of a deal at this price too.

This is an OLD model. The last firmware update was in 2019 (6 years ago). The upscaling is unimpressive, it has no wifi and the price seems way too high for something this old with so few features.
