    • It works with an older VIZIO Flat Screen TV in older RV we bought.
Finally got around to trying the TV that came with a 2001 RV we bought in Feb. Too cold to mess back then. Now it's too HOT. PEOPLE you never know we complain all the time. Anyway this worked today with my small little TV that turns out not to have a functioning or correct Remote. Anyway just ordered a generic that says it works with old Vizio's on Amazon. Fingers crossed. This did work. I still have to figure out a few things. I attempted to set it up and use directly with a projector today. Didn't work right. So decided to try with the TV. Yes it played a movie we inserted..just a check to see if it works and all that. And it does. No DVD got stuck in the drawer like some Sony's seem to do these days similar players. Then I went back to the Projector and it now plays the movie via the projector. The sound is iffy but we'll look into a sound bar or better speaker system in a week or two. A friend of mine wants to watch GIRL FLICKS with me outside on our back patio and so happy it will play DVD's and Blu-ray. I haven't tried a Blu-ray disk yet but see no reason if it plays one it'll play the other. Also most of the time I camp out of antenna or wi-fi range etc. so working the Camper TV is spot on perfect for the time being. The TV does have a sound +/- button on back side and on off too. So we can work out that once we get the new TV support hung up and the old one that came with it was broken. Another buy here on Amazon. Anyway yes to it but I haven't had a lot of time with it as you can tell. If it holds up in the heat and cold in the RV over a year or two I will be super pleased. But plan to store in doors over winter just to keep the electronics on a more even keel so to speak. They can be a bit picky little buggers and humidity and heat and even cold can set them off into tantrums. Love the size of this. Will fit perfectly in the over head cubby that's made for it in the RV. Do not forget to order an HDMI cord. I thought this came with both the old system and HDMI but it doesn't. No problem for my set up as the TV is HDMI only. But the Projector offers both. So pick up the cord. ... show more

    • Just be aware . . .
This does not come with an hdmi cable to attach it to the television. Silly me thought such a wire would be included with the player, but it wasn’t. Fortunately, we had one buried somewhere in our closet and can use it. But others should know that such a simple wire is not included.

No Bluetooth, one hdmi output to connect to your TV, one input to connect an external source. Nothing else. No Bluetooth. Otherwise it works great, picture is great, sounds great.

This blueray play is able to play all of my blueray, DVDs, CDs, including my custom burnt DVDs and CDs perfectly. I do have an an xbox series x, however, for some reason it will not play my burnt media without stuttering, this dedicated player plays everything flawlessly. It has a huge support of video and audio format, so just using burnt data DVDs and CDs it will be able to play whatever files you throw at it. It has a USB port for an external storage device, giving you access to you digital libraries as well. I Believe that the highest output available is 1080p. However, I'm not sure If it's due to the HDMI I'm using. I know it's not high bandwidth, just a basic HDMI cord. ... show more
