The media could not be loaded. I just received my Tojock player two days ago, and extremely pleased with my purchase for the price. It was easy to setup and I alternate between the DVD player and Blu-Ray as needed. I know it’s 2021, but this is my first Blu-Ray player ever. I already had so many DVDs of my own, then thought I would switch to Apple iTunes or Amazon to download movies and TV shows, but the latter never really took off for me. Anyways, I’ve not learned all of the features of the player, but know you can control everything from the volume to the contract from the remote. The image is crisp. I’ve posted a picture as well as the video. The video is geared more towards those who might purchase Studio Ghibli movies. I attempted to submit a second video to clarify the issue I incurred, but Amazon only allows for one video per submission apparently. If you watch my video, you’ll see that the Tojock system is showing an icon in the top right-hand corner, which goes away at chapter 3 of the disc (the disc I’m playing is called SPIRITED AWAY). What’s interesting is it seems to be only Studio Ghibli Blu-Ray DVDs does this happen. I’ve reached out to Tojock asking if they had anyone else ask this same question (I’ll make an edit when I hear back). I own the Limited Edition Steelbook cases of THE CAT RETURNS and SPIRITED AWAY both from SHOUT! Factory. Coincidentally, the right-hand corner icon appears on both THE CAT RETURNS and SPIRITED AWAY, then disappears in chapter 2 and 3 respectively. I also have the Limited Edition Steelbook cases by SHOUT! Factory of FRIDAY THE 13TH and FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2, which DOES NOT have any icon appear during the movie. Additionally, I played WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT 25TH ANNIVERSARY without incident. Now what’s interesting is when I put another/different SPIRITED AWAY Blu-Ray disc in the Tojock Player, it gives one the same icon until chapter 3, so it’s not the player, as it is something embedded (possibly?) in the disc itself. I went through all of that detail because it may just be Studio Ghibli films; however, I have not had enough time and/or Blu-Ray DVDs to try. I will post an edit to my review when Tojock reaches back out to me. But at this time the player is seamless and plays perfectly. UPDATE: As previously mentioned, I reached out to Tojock's customer service who responded via email with a fix within 15-minutes after my email was sent; I was and and still am impressed with their customer service/ tech support. She included a PDF of the user manual, and photograph of the fix for the aforementioned issue. 'I checked with engineer, this is a Multi-angle scene disc, you can turn off this logo by turning off "Angle Mark" in the settings. (Below picture for your reference).'     • UPDATE: Remote Issues RESOLVED
I have updated this review since Tojock was incredible with their customer support and they fully resolved the issues. In fact I would say that they went well above and beyond what most any other company would do to ensure customer satisfaction. They re-programmed the codes in their system, sent me a new remote and the firmware to update the player. Everything went very smoothly for the update and the device worked perfectly after that. JOB WELL DONE Tojock! Original Review>>>>> I did not know how to rate this product because of a very strange issue I encountered, which caused me to return it. The player itself was fine. Compact size, plain but not ugly look, and basic setup. Everything was included (remote, instructions, HDMI cable, but no batteries). As far as video quality, it was good, but not great. The videos (all authentic DVD and Blu Ray movies) seemed a bit dark. Nothing terrible though. The issue was that the remote uses infrared codes that are not unique to Tojock (the reseller/manufacturer). It uses the same codes as my sound bar. So when I use the Tojock remote for DVD functions (play, rewind, power, etc) my sound bar changes input, powers off, and changes volume. Likewise when I use my sound bar remote to change the settings back to what they should be, the Tojock DVD player reacts to those signals and skips around, goes back to the menu, and other actions. I tried to address this with Tojock directly first. They were very responsive and even offered me a 16 GB flash drive for my troubles. Their first solution was for me to move the components apart from each other, which was not feasible because I can't really put the DVD player or the sound bar in another room. Their second solution was to take videos of what was happening, and then wait a month or more while their engineer worked on new programming for the remote. Having doubts about this solution and not wanting to wait a month without a DVD player, I declined the offer and sent the unit back. I know this is a very unique situation and applies perhaps only to this overlap of DVD player and specific sound bar, but I just could not use it as is. So I went with 3 stars. The DVD player works. Support was decent. However when a product uses an infrared remote they should not use the same codes as another product that is already on the market. ... show more

    • Excellent product with quick delivery
This was easy to set up and use. Picture quality is great but the sound quality is somewhat lacking in clarity. I had to really crank the volume to get a decent sound, and I tested it with 3 different dvds. Overall, I am very satisfied for the price as it fell between a cheap quality and a top of the range quality. ... show more
