I bought this for a reel that requires a female to female connection. It works well and does not leak. The only reason I'm docking 1 star is due to the 3/4 thickness rather than 5/8. It's not a huge deal, but the former does require more pressure than the latter to get the same amount of water flow. I ordered this to replace our hose reel leader hose, since it had one kink. Well, I end up receiving one with THREE kinks! Unless you are ok with 50% flow capacity, look for another option. This hose is definitely kink-prone.

Biught a new high pressure washer which needed a 3/4 in hose and only had a 1/2 in supply hose for the reel. Purchased this 3/4 in reel hose and the pressure washer loves it. Was getting some spurting with the 1/2 inch reel hose and this 3/4 reel hose fixed it.

I'm very pleased with this hose. I'm using it as a leader hose to a reel and it had to be 10 ft for my needs and both ends need to be female. The bright blue is easy to see tucked behind some shrubs in the shade so I don't trip over it. It fits the hose reel just with hand tightening and the right washers, no leaks.
