It's very hard to find a short hose in the big box DYI stores. This hose is of sturdy, premium quality and fit all our connectors. We attached it to a brass Y connector to be able to water the potted plants while the longer hose is in use.

Good quality connections on this hose, but it is very stiff. It's not a big deal at the 12-foot length, but it would be a real pain in a longer hose. I'm hoping it will become a little more flexible as the weather warms up.

    • Deceptive Advertising - Broke Under Pressure
What good is the pressure rating of the hose if the fittings do NOT comply with that rating. No, the hose itself did not burst, but the male fitting blew off under pressure and flooded the whole yard before I discovered what happened. Unfortunately I took the bait and bought this because of the pressure rating. The male fitting threads into a cheap plastic fitting inside the house. No wonder it blew off. Again, what good are brass fittings if the weakest part of the equation is the hidden plastic fitting inside. ' Like a Vegas magic act - lots of misdirection in the writeup. This hose is very durable and no leaks at the fittings. I purchased this short hose to use with my pressure wash on a second-story deck, then proceeded to use it to pressure wash the patio below.
