I bought a wire crate and my 55 lb American Staffordshire mix broke out of it the second day. He destroyed the tray in the bottom of it and bent the monkey metal. I ordered the Luckup the next day and got it a day sooner than original delivery date. I put it together in about 15 minutes by myself (I am a 62 year old woman) and have been happy with it since. I bought this for my pup with separation anxiety after she ruined a different kennel. This thing is super sturdy and she hasn’t been able to make even one mark or dent on it. I feel much better leaving her now knowing she’s safe in this kennel. Highly recommend!

BUY THIS. We have a 28 lb hound/terrier mix. He’s a rescue and he came to us with separation anxiety. We did not know this when we rescued him so we had gotten him a regular wire crate you’d see at petsmart. Oh were we mistaken. He figured out how to work the latch and we put a padlock on it so it couldn’t be manipulated and he bent the top of the crate and climbed out. We were worried he’d hurt himself and due to his anxiety he was a tornado when we left the house and he wasn’t in a crate. We did some research and found this crate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WORTH THE MONEY. Our little guy hasn’t been able to escape it, bend it or destroy it in any way. We did get him a mat to put on the bottom so it was a little more comfortable for him. It is not easy to travel with, but it is definitely worth the money if it will be staying in the home. It comes on wheels so you’re able to move it to vacuum underneath as well as transport it from one room to the next if need be. The only thing I would change about it is where the door is located. When I was starting his crate training and getting him used to the crate and going home when told, we’d say ‘home’ and toss a treat in so he’d get used to the term and what to do. When the door is on the side, he was able to stick one paw in and reach the treat so he didn’t really have to get in the crate. If the door was on the end and I threw it to the back he’d have to get in the crate to get the treat. Just something to consider. Overall, we love the crate and would highly recommend to anyone who is searching for a crate for a dog with anxiety. It is a little bit big for him but he was already potty trained so this is not an issue. With this crate for about 1.5-2 months he is a completely different dog. His anxiety is almost not noticeable because he has learned to be comfortable with this crate as he cannot escape it. ... show more

My dog loves her crate. Easy to assemble and all the tools needed were included. The urine goes to the bottom when she has an accident and its super easy to clean. I added weewee pads to the bottom tray for accidents. Worth the purchase

Being quarantined for 2 months, my dog (6 year old pit/lab mix, also a rescue) got used to me being home all the time. So when I went back to work, the harsh reality hit him and his separation anxiety got worse. I had one of those $60 wire cages from Walmart that I would keep him in bit it seemed like he would find a way out of it every single time, garnering him the nickname "Harry". If I left him out of his cage he would pull curtains down and eat at the drywall near the door. One night, I go to work and when I got home he had chewed through the wire cage, causing a cut above his eye and a destroyed cage. I instantly came to Amazon to see what solutions there were for my problem. This LuckUp cage is a blessing. He can't chew through the bars and he's grown quite fond of it as it's quality is great. He doesn't try escaping, not that he could...and it's got plenty of room that way he doesn't feel squeezed in tight. I only wish I had purchased it sooner. My friendly but anxious boxer-pit mix literally destroyed two crates before this one. We tried just letting her be loose all the time but she got i into the trash and got a little destructive when we were gone. The wheels made it easy to assemble in one room then move it where I wanted it. I assembled the crate minus the wheels in about 30 minutes or less. Her bed covers most of the bottom, making it more comfortable for her. I like the top opening option but we don't use it. This has been the best crate purchase I have ever made. It is extremely sturdy and has even held two big dogs trying to get out at the same time. It’s also been a year since I got mine and there is no rust and no damage it’s like brand new still. My family calls it the raptor cage because it is massive and looks like it’s made to hold dinosaurs. But it doesn’t rattle and shake when the dogs are messing with it. It’s not rusty or gross and it’s so easy to clean we just roll it out the back door and hose it down super quick then let it air dry and roll it back in. Honestly can’t praise this crate enough. My 13 yr old Border Collie has been having separation anxiety in his old kernel. So, I reached out to a friend who rescues many misunderstood dogs. She highly recommended Luck Up Kernels. I am so happy he loves it! He gets in without issues. His anxiety level has decreased when he has to be in the crate. Not only my Border Collie like in my young Shiba Inu gets in it a lot & takes a nap. The quality is amazing. It's sturdy, it's super simple to assemble. Love the locking wheels!!!
