Was a little difficult to assemble, but I am 76 years old. I had to take a lot of breaks as my back is not what it used to be. Over all though was not overly difficult. I had trouble with getting inside screws to line up. I ended up turning back upside down and taking off then turned back over and got inside screws started first, then turned back over and attached them to the bottom side. Perfect size for a small fire pit. The assembly instructions were by picture only… and one screw short but we were able to find one that fit. But otherwise everything went well. Easy to use and I love that it has a cover to keep rainwater out of it. We did use the grates also for some hot dogs. They were okay. Ended up using them more as warmer grates and used a homemade grate I had myself that went more directly on the fire for cooking. Provides beautiful ambiance. ... show more

This is a sturdy fire pit and the perfect size for a nice fire. We love the way it looks and the ledge around the outside stays cool enough rest your feet on. It was moderately easy to assemble. It's a nice, big fire pit with lots of ventilation. Assembly was easy, but the metal isn't exactly lined up for the screws. Easy to bend the metal to line up with the screw holes. The cooking grills might be useful if you don't have a grill to cook on, but they're kind of small and you have to use a pan or foil. It was pretty easy to put together and very sturdy once it’s done. Grilled sausage dogs and hot dogs on. Wish it had little grid around the grill part so your food doesn’t roll off. I’ve really enjoyed it.

From the pictures you can see that this firepit is very thin and poorly made. The shipping box was intact but the body of the firepit itself is dented. Some of the welds for the leg attachment are not straight, as seen in the picture. I contacted Amazon and tried to speak directly to OutVue, the seller. Amazon told me that I would have to bring this to a UPS Store and did not have the option of picking up. I have back problems and am not able to get this to the store. I asked to contact the seller, OutVue, they sent a message to them and said that I should receive an email from the seller. I received a shipping label but no message. I never write reviews unless a product is super great, but this time it's just a terrible product with terrible customer service and not worth the money or all of this time and effort. ... show more
