This is the second fireball that we have had. The first one lasted 7 years. Goes to show that if you take care of it, it will last. Our new unit look very similar but the assembly was definitely different. All was going well until time to assemble and put the top screen pieces on. Part “K1” needed a hole near the pivot point but that hole didn’t exist. I disassembled it and started over just to ensure I had put it together correctly. Sure enough, not my mistake. The manufacturer forgot to drill a hole. So, I drilled one and the rest of the assembly went great.

We’re thoroughly enjoying our new wood burning fire pit! Assembly was a breeze and the end result is a sturdy and attractive addition to our back yard. The heat output is perfect- it radiates nicely and provides a comfortable warmth for everyone sitting around it. The design is also visually appealing, making it a great focal point for our outside gatherings. One minor drawback is that the paint doesn’t hold up well to the heat, but this is an easy fix with some touch-up paint. Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and cozy fire pit.

This completely encloses my wood fires with no ash or embers escaping. Allows excellent air updraft & logs burn completely down to ash. Value for money: Good. Only used x 1 month but seems solid. I like that they provide a couple extra bolts & nuts for my fumbling fingers. Rust resistance: [Edit]. This is not powder coated & I noted rust in 6 weeks (uncovered in rainstorm once). So I already have spray painted it with high heat rustoleum. Build quality: I had slight difficulty understanding instructions; but it fits together in only one manner; so I knew when I had to back up & reassemble a step. If you can build a moderate complexity Lego kit, you can build this. Edit: NOT powder coated & began to rust after 2 months ( despite plastic rain cover). Needs high temp anti-rust paint applications. 4**** rating.
