Very satisfying product but it’s a not an easy build. Instructions are okay but you need to be very flexible and have two people to put it together.

1. Very sturdy 2. Cordless drill will be super helpful to assemble....It's frustrating to do by hand, and the pics weren't great. It's doable, but took a long time, and with 2 of us. 3. As you can see in the video, flames will shoot out through the side and top, at first; however, it will calm down, then. We purchased a round heat resistant mat ($15) for underneath it, and placed it away from the side and slightly toward the center. Also, we used a stove board against the wooden rails and have a bucket of water nearby. There is a sliding door on the front of the chimnea. There's a metal poker it comes with to move wood and the door (remember to use it and not your hand)... It looks nice and gives warmth. Overall, we enjoy it! ... show more
