Very nice chiminea. The directions say it takes around 20 minutes to assemble and recommends two people to complete it. I agree with the two people because I did it by myself and trying to get the legs on was more difficult than if I had help. Very good looking and feels sturdy and heavy duty once it’s all assembled. Just be aware to take everything out of the box and look at the pictures to align everything. Puts out some good heat and is big enough for a nice fire. ... show more

    • Great start to our Summer Nights!
This Chimenea looks great and was easy to build, not allot of hardware and a decent manual with excellent photos and understandable instructions. In hindsight, I might have built it from the top down, maybe. It's a strong, sturdy fireplace. I think that the tray under the Chimenea was a good idea. The lower fire grate is rigid and looks like it will last. Tweak the grate supports, so that the grate seats properly. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting as nice a Chimenea, for this price. I am very happy with the purchase this Chimenea. I even ordered the weather cover. Finally, I would recommend this Chimenea to anyone looking for a safe and sturdy fireplace/fire pit for the back yard. ... show more

    • Good for 5 or 6 years
Review Image by Kindle Customer
It’s a fairly good fire pit. I just received my order which replaced my 6 year old Bali ( same model). It works well but is a bit flimsy and eventually rusts out even after repainting with high heat rust paint. I have to admit that the extreme heat breaks down the metal and it rusts and weakens the integrity of the unit. ... show more

    • Really like this Chiminea
Purchased to replace a clay chiminea i had for years. searched multiple products and finally decided on this one. Hight was just about right, almost 4 feet tall. Top part is cast metal and sturdy, but the bottom is only stamped metal. not sure how long that will last out in the weather. Was pretty easy to assemble by myself. 10MM wrench and screwdriver. Color is more brownish than black but looks nice. Good size inside for wood. Door slides open or can be removed. All in all i really like this. Burnt a fake log and it was beautiful. ? how long will it last outside in New England winters ? I don't see anything out there around this price that i think would do any better. Only had it for a month but if it lasts more than two years would definitely buy again. ... show more

    • Great chiminea with one improvement
Review Image by Jonathan Richer
Great chiminea. First one lasted 4-5 years with a lot of use. We improve the draft and move the exhaust smoke above our heads by inserting a 8” stove pipe and spark arrestor cap. Great setup and excellent price point.

    • Pretty good
After assembling I discovered that there was a bump on the edge where the door is supposed to slide open and shut. Because of the bump, the door would not open without falling off. Had to either shave down the bump or reassemble with the bump away from the door. I chose to reassemble, so now the door opens. The lid on top cracked when I dropped it on the patio. The use of the chimenea is very easy and it's easy to start a fire in it. It looks beautiful and helps keep the mosquitoes somewhat at bay. I like that it can be moved easily, unlike a brick firepit. If you buy this, make sure you get the cover for it. The chimenea will rust if not protected from rain. The cover is really heavy duty and easy to put on and will not fly off. Not sure how this will hold up because I've only had it for a short while. ... show more
