The media could not be loaded. Ok. I initially rated this 3 stars because the ignitor wouldnt work. HOWEVER, that was user (husband) error. The battery was in backwards. Once the ignitor was working like it should, I bumped this up to five stars. I love the blue glass stones and this can really put out the heat! We have been enjoying sitting around it and taking the edge off a long day of work and grown up responsibilities. ... show more

    • Nice Firepit That Throws Off a lot of Heat
Nice firepit that is a cool, round design. It is a bit taller than we expected but it does need to accommodate the large propane tank underneath. It could probably be a few inches shorter though. Fire glass is a pretty blue/green color but a bunch of the glass rocks have cracked under the heat. Shortly after we bought it the price dropped a lot which were unhappy about. We have still used it and enjoyed it on plenty of cold nights. ... show more

    • Bigger than I expected, but works perfectly!
As the fall approaches, we wanted to add a fire pit to our deck to warm us for socially distanced hangouts. We went with this model because it seemed like a good compact size. I had imagined it as being slightly bigger than a propane tank, but it's a good bit wider than that. It matches the specs, though I just didn't actually measure it out. Still a good size though. The only negative so far is that it took a little damage in transit. The door has a slight dent in it and one of the posts that attaches the door hinge came off. It didn't affect the functionality at all, but I will be reaching out to their customer service to see if I can get a replacement post. Last night we fired it up and it was great. At first it may not seem like it's putting off that much heat, but as the beads warm up, it gets to be quite cozy. All of the important parts of the burner, igniter, etc, seem to be well constructed, and it lit quickly. It was much better than my gas grill. I ended up getting the cover to keep the rain off and it fits perfectly. Just be aware that it takes a couple of hours for the fire pit to cool down after use. In 60 degree weather, it took about 2 hours to cool down enough to put the cover on. ... show more

After reading and researching and finding nothing I liked at the local big box home improvements stores and gas providers, I decided to order this one. The most important feature was ease in putting together as I am not great at assembly. I ordered it on 9/4/20, with arrival date projected between 9/17 and 9/23. Much to my surprise, it arrived on 9/10 and was left on the sidewalk by FedEx. I immediately noted a hole in the box and once I got it up the stairs and into the house, which was a bit of a workout. Even more of a work out was getting the box open as it was very securely packaged. However, once I did, I was disappointed to find it dented and dinged as noted in picture above. So my initial excitement was rained on and, given the size, determined I was not going to send back if it functioned. The hookup to tank, putting in AAA battery and putting in the stones took about 10 minutes and that was with putting the battery in wrong despite the picture and instructions. The test came when I started it and it immediately lit up. Because it was tested in day, the flame wasn't all that visible but the heat was immediate.     • Fantastic Fire Pit
The media could not be loaded. This fire pit is so easy to use...we try to sit on our patio almost every evening all winter long. It's cozy warm and the blue glass pebbles are beautiful when the flame is up. It takes only a few seconds to ignite and enjoy. Thoroughly love this product!
