Nice little fire table at a great price! Easy to assemble. We ended up buying the glass surround to keep the flame from blowing all over. The finish on the table top area wore off quickly regardless of it being covered or not but we're fine with that. Nice to sit and relax with outside at any time of year. It put off some nice warmth when standing or sitting close. Easy to start and stop. I recommend.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE REVIEW After visiting a relative who had purchased one of the units my wife and I decided to order one. It's extremely easy to assemble with dummy-proof instructions. Fired right up the first time and was everything we remembered from our previous encounter .... EXCEPT .... the cover (which is custom made to fit over and cover the entire unit) is a gawd-awful tannish beige color. The entire fireplace (sans the blue marble stones within the firepit) is coal black unlike the first one we saw which was also coal black. The aforementioned gawd-awful tannish beige color is disappointingly hideous, and we've contacted the mfg. to replace ours with the black cover that the other unit had. Other than that, we love the superior quality of materials and construction and have enjoyed numerous compliments. Unfortunately, the cover for the unit is ultimately a deal-breaker for us and it will be returned if we cannot get a black cover for the unit. This would be a solid 5-star review had the cover been a black one !!!

Was very nervous after reading many issues with the starter/ignition switch. But I can say it's been a amazing product for us and have not had that issue! Great quality for the money and it really looks wonderful on the deck! My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is if it's any higher then the min flame (with or without the glass wind protection) the flame eventually goes out with the slightest bit of wind (like even what seems like no wind) and you have to reignite it. but otherwise it works wonders on the lowest setting as is and is a huge talking point when guests are over!
