Waited 3 weeks to post a review to gather an accurate impression. We ordered two of these fans and they are great. They are super light weight making installation simple especially if this isn’t your first fan install. Fans are practically silent and move a lot of air. I would suggest going larger than you think you need ( we chose 60”) as the blades are measured tip to tip vs the diameter(see diagram in add). Some previous reviews stated the fan will not return to the last speed setting when turned off and the back on with the wall switch without using the remote. I found this inaccurate as ours do return to the last speed setting with turning the switch back on. I will say you may need 2 x screws (8/32 or 10/32 ) along with small fender washers to mount the included fixture bar to the ceiling box as they’re not included with the hardware kit. You can find them at a local hardware store for less than $3. Over all the fans are visually pleasing, operate well and in my opinion a great value compared to big name brands like Hunter. Keep an eye out for flash deals we were able to save $100 per fan making run come in at $160 each for the 60”. ... show more

This is a beautiful fan it looks great and works fantastic. It looks like a vintage plane propeller and adds a bit of nostalgia to the area it is mounted in. The fan runs almost silent and has a variety of speeds to fit all your needs. The remote makes it really nice now if I can just keep it in the same spot without loosing it. I have installed MANY ceiling fans and to be honest this was the most difficult installation I have had so it’s a bit more than I was used to and took my son inlaw and I about an 1 hour and a half versus what other fans have taken being about 30 minutes but a good electrician should have no problem. Easy to assemble, looks great, and works as expected. I like that the fan has several speeds and the rotation (clockwise and counterclockwise) is controlled by the remote. I purchased the 52” for the bedroom and used the 5” download as it replaced a surface mounted fan and it hangs down to the the same height. I also purchased a 60” fan for the living room and used the 15” downrod since that was the longest but it still worked on my sloped ceiling and it does not wobble when going any speed. ... show more

Best fan I ever had! Seriously, this fan has the easiest install ever. Finally, someone thought about how difficult it is to hold a fan up while connecting the wires. This design has made that process a breeze. Then to have a remote at my chair and control every aspect of this fan is a real pleasure.
