I had some reservations that the LEDs behind the bar of translucent plex would be obvious, but they're only slightly discernable. The thing was easy to mount on the wall, and the wires only needed a bit of extra stripping to go into the wire nuts to connect it up. The mounting mechanism is conveniently designed so that you can mount the thing firmly enough to not move around, but not so firmly that you can't level it by twisting the housing after getting it up there. It plays just fine with the TP-Link HS220 smart dimmer, the calibration part was easy, and on the lowest setting from the HS220 it might as well be a nightlight, so now if I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I can do it without hissing and holding the sleeve of my robe up over my face. ... show more

Like the look. Can change the temperature of light color by quickly turn on and off at switch. The light bar can rotate to direct the light. I got one with slight defect on the light bar which is not too obvious in the picture. The base is a a bit too small to cover the round junction box. The plate design is also not ideal. The box almost has to be perfectly flush. Mounting the fixture took me a while. ... show more

For a light weight light this one is quite sturdy. Installed with simple plastic plugs (supplied) into plaster board. I wired to a simple plug in dimmer on a switched 110 outlet circuit. To change the color temps you simply turn on the light then off and back on within 20 seconds. It puts out very bright light at full power but with the dimmer that can be brought down to a nice ambient evening glow. I am pleased with this light. ... show more

Nice design style. The adjustible lens direction is very loose and the fastening screws need to be really tightend up regularly. The color tempurature setting can only be changed with the light switch and cannot be permanantly pre-set. This is a little inconvenent if you turn the light on and off before 20-seconds and the color changes automatically. I am still putting my bathroom together, and this light is a game-changer. You can tilt it 180 degrees up toward the ceiling or down over the vanity.
