    • Awesome 6 person tent!
Size: 6 Person
I am really impressed with the construction and design of this tent. I particularly like the blackout material in the rain fly, no light gets in... though I am sure it will get plenty warm when the sun hits it in the morning when camping. I usually seal all the seams before I take it out, but they were sealed very well rrom the factory so I don't expect any leakage happening anytime soon. Overall, very impressed with the quality so far. Easy to put up and take down alone. 6 person tent is plenty big for me, the wife, 2 cots, 2 dogs and our gear. We will be taking it out very soon!! ... show more

    • Love this tent!

I love this thing! I can set this tent up in about 3 minutes. It’s crazy how fast the setup is for the size. I love the dark layer on the interior for blocking light and UV. It still heats up like any tent but it’s much better than anything else I’ve used. The pack size and weight isn’t bad at all. The quality of the fabrics is very noticeable. I love the coverage of the rain fly and the vestibule. I’ve had this thing in full on midwestern thunderstorms and not a drop of water was detected inside. For the money- this is an awesome tent! ... show more

    • Nice tent to camp with kids
Size: 6 Person
Easy to set up. Definitely blocks 99% of the daylight. Had to use a light during the day to see what I was doing. Tall enough for someone 5’7” to stand up in. As with most Kelty products it feels sturdy and good quality for the price point. Used it during 50° nights and never felt too cold. The tent is pretty huge and I feel like the bag could be bigger for it- that’s my only complaint. ... show more

    • It's great
Size: 6 Person
Review Image by K.M.
We love it, but the rain fly could roll back more when not needed to allow for better access to door. We've been rained on several times and never gotten wet (we did waterproof it at the beginning of the summer). I can put this tent up by myself in 10 min and it's very easy to take down and store back in it's bag. Comes with fiberglass poles vs aluminum but it does include better stakes than average. If fits one king mattress and one twin with a foot and a half to 2 ft along one edge. You'd have a lot more room if you used a queen vs king but I'm not sure you could fit two queens comfortably. ... show more

    • Almost perfect
Size: 6 Person
Nice tent lots of room , darkroom technology might not be for everyone. Only one door , would be nice if it had two exits . The tent pegs for the size of the tent are ridiculous , buy better pegs , and paracord for the guy lines. Mine are yellow so I can see them at night. I will selling my tent , just don't care for the dark room technology . ... show more

    • Great idea, still has quality issues.
Size: 6 Person
Review Image by J37894
This tent is dark during the day. Plan to use a flashlight during the day. That said, if you stake out the rainfly, it will let in some light. My problem is the quality...several reviews mentioned holes in the rain fly. I was hoping Kelty had fixed these problems by now. Sadly, they hadn't. The tent I received had several pin hole size spots where light came through the rain fly. I don't know if these spots were holes or just where the blacking material came off, but I didn't want to take a chance and returned it. ... show more
