I got this to use on a trip to Texas, for staying at hotels that don't have alam clocks in the room. The photos are a bit deceiving, as this travel alarm clock is a bit larger than it appears, but still packs nicely in a suitcase. Great instructions, easy to set and configure. Display is large and easy to read, with a bright backlight, but can be set to stay on, or only come on when you press the top button, when it lights up for a few seconds before dimming. Alarm is the slow wake up type, starts with a few soft beeps, and gets more frequent and louder to wake you gently. This travel alarm did the job, and I'm glad I purchased it. I give it 4 stars because in my opinion there is no such thing as a "Perfect 5" but this comes about as close as it gets! ... show more

    • Hard to read at certain angles
I use it as a 24 hour clock set to UTC at my ham station. Very nice display when sitting (eye level). When I stand, it's difficult to read (looking down at it).

It is a little too big for our BIG BATH, but it works. I wish it had some colors, but it works. It is better than a 12 inch analog clock on the wall.

This clock works but there are a couple things I’m not thrilled with. First, the snooze alarm is only five minutes. I research this clock and thought it had an eight or nine minute snooze alarm but it doesn’t. The second and most upsetting thing is for display is awful. Sometimes it’s hard to even tell if the alarm is set or not. It’s just very difficult to see in there is very little contrast between the numbers and the bright background. ... show more
