I purchased these outdoor fairy lights mainly to annoy my neighbor. We all have one of those, don't we? Has a snide comment for everything, but I digress. I have made it my mission to outfit my backyard with items that annoy him. Flashing fairy lights to wrap around garden statues? Sign. Me. Up. The different modes are especially helpful as I can change them up to refresh the annoyance level. He claims, "they don't bother him" but he notices every time I change the setting. Gives me hours of entertainment for a small investment. Plus, they are solar!

The media could not be loaded. These are so much better than I thought they would be! They lasted the entire winter season and will be staying up for as long as they’ll continue to shine! Used them on a potted pine tree in the front and for a festive pop to my chicken coop. Whimsical, fun, and BRIGHT even when its been a few days of overcast. Definitely worth the purchase.

Ok. I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for lights/lighting. As a professional photographer, I am well aware of the transformative nature of lighting... you can make the mundane seem exciting....turn an average room or area beautiful....at least at night. That's where these solar string lights comes in. In my never-ending quest to add lighting to my house and my garden, I stumbled across these lights while on the Amazon. The low-cost, length, solar power and price of these lights caught my attention so I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. When they came, I was a little surprised at how thin the cable and led lights are. I have numerous lights on trees and hedges in my back yard that look lovely at night, but have always used Christmas style light strands...with bigger, bulkier wires and light bulbs. In all actuality, this thinner cable is a far superior method to use.....you cannot see the string of lights during the day and I now won't need to replace bulbs as I have for years...as these led lights should last for many years....at an extremely low voltage as well. The package came with two light strands, each with its own mini solar power unit, along with a stake it attaches to that is then shoved into the ground. The molded plastic is sturdy and did not feel cheaply made. The string of lights is long and really thin...absolutely perfect and making it easy to run it around some small shrubs I have in my yard. The stakes can easily be placed off to the side where they are not seen...but be sure to give them access to the sun! I tried numerous different settings the lights have to control their behavior, but decided to stick with the fairly traditional always on mode. My backyard is not a circus....yet. All in all, I'm pretty impressed with these lights. They don't cost much and run on solar power. They are sturdy and not visible during the day. At night, they look magical. Originally, I only bought one package to see if I liked them. I do. I will be ordering one or two more to finish out on my shrubs the design I have already started with these lights. If your into outdoor lighting, this may be a perfect thing to try. I'm glad I did!

They work for an emergency type situation or if you’re in a budget. They aren’t bright enough if you have other Christmas lights around, regardless if you let them “power” all day. I used it to cover a wide area so that might have been why as well. I guess for small spaces and close together you will get a bright effect. They function but I wouldn’t recommend them or anything.
